About
There’s something for everyone at this cheerful water park. Muster up enough courage to conquer all the slides, including The Beast with its 100-foot nearly verticle drop. Parents can relax in the wave pool, and there are water playgrounds and slides that cater to families with young kids. Western Water Park is typically open from April to October and is easily accessible by car or bus. Purchase a fast past on a busy day to skip the queues. Eateries and kiosks are spread across the park, and there are picnic areas if you prefer to bring lunch. – Tripadvisor

- Lee-Anne BKirkcaldy, United Kingdom9 contributionsFantastic day outWe visited with our 7 year old. Booked tickets online before we arrived as small discount for doing so. No need to wait to get in. Once in large choice of shady places to sit, some people choose to lay towels but we hired beds at 5 euros each. If u purchase online you redeem your voucher in the locker room and receive a band to stick on your lounger. There is an attendant who comes round to check you’ve paid, which is fair enough. Not sure if it’s due to being late in the season or being a Tuesday, but place was not busy and we queued for nothing. Whole place is spotless and staff friendly. We took a packed lunch as food on offer was expensive and limited. All in all we have had an excellent day and we would return. Thank youThank you very much for your visit and review! - Jon-paul MBurnley, United Kingdom12 contributionsWouldn’t go back!Parks slides are ok but need a refurb. Waters freezing everywhere. Younger staff on slides are rude and ignorant and one was making a spiff on the boomerang and just kept repeating get in get in about 4 times as we was trying to climb in. He had a stupid bandana on and looked like a right C**k. No excuse to be rude to families at a water park, I get if it was down the square after receiving abuse of drunk idiots but it’s not the case. The 2 older Ladies in the locker room and souvenir shop where lovely.Thank you very much for your visit and your review. As we are an open-air park, the pools are not heated and therefore the water is at room temperature. Regarding your experience with the staff, we are sorry to hear that you were offended. For future occasions, we would appreciate it if you could let us know at the time in the park so that we can take the necessary measures. - Angelika R1 contributionGreat time but sort food before handWould have been a five out of five but the food was disgusting not to mention it cost a fortune. Park itself is great for all ages and there was absolutely no ques for any of the slides which was awesome! The lockers are 6 euro with a 5 euro deposit. Taxi from Costa de la Calma cost 11 euro.Thank you very much for your visit and review. We're glad you enjoy. - Eaters74Witham, United Kingdom7 contributionsGood for teenagersFairly quiet mid week in October so no long queues, good variety of slides to keep teenagers entertained for a day. Park kept clean and sunbeds in good condition. Annoying to have to pay extra for parking (€7) but otherwise a decent park.Thank you very much for your visit and review! - Denise BBradford, United Kingdom7 contributionsGreat funLots of fun, slides of all sizes and a wave pool. Suits all ages. Places you can take your own picnic and shaded areas. There were sun loungers which they were not charging for but we went in October and it was very quiet so may be different high season. Food is okay but pricey €18 beef burger, chips and a soft drink. Chicken strips, chips and drink €16.50. They also had vegetarian options and salad. Entrance price €34 for over 12s, if you go again it is €20.Thank you very much for your visit and review. - IsabelSolihull, United Kingdom168 contributionsFamily friendly slidesA lovely water park with a lovely atmosphere, this water park welcomes people of all ages with the ‘scarier’ slides and the family friendly slides! It’s all outdoors and there’s a whole lot of slides, definitely need a whole day if visiting this water park because it is huge! Waterproof phone cases, clean toilets, lockers and fast passes are all available at this water park, although the data passes weren’t necessary as the quests went down very quick at this park. Will 100% recommend to families looking for a water park.Thank you very much for your visit and review. We're happy you enjoyed! - Rsts3451034 contributionsGreat waterparkCame here the last week of May, the park was very quiet so didn't have to queue for any of the rides which was a bonus. This park was fantastic with slides for all ages. Its not the biggest but we still spent the whole day there. Would highly recommend. Just be mindful the ground gets extremely hot as parts are painted in black. Food was expensive but really nice.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 23 May 2024
- Rosie B11 contributionsGreat day out, unfriendly staff.Great fun for couples and families alike. There’s a good selection of slides for everyone, no matter your age or fear levels! The food is very expensive, so just take a picnic if you can. We did, then bought a drink and an ice cream from one of the kiosks. Lockers are chargeable, but you need one if your whole party are swimming/trying out the slides, so that’s ok. It’s good to have peace of mind that your belongings are safe. The sun beds are also chargeable, which seems a bit much when you’ve already paid to get in? The only downside for us was that some of the staff were pretty rude and acted as though they really didn’t want to be there. Some were rude and quite blunt when speaking to us and giving direction before we used the slides. At first we thought it was just lost in translation, but we soon realised that this just wasn’t the case. You say “hi” in English and in Spanish, but you’re totally blanked. You smile and say “thank you”, but you just received a dirty look or no response at all. It’s a real shame because it leaves you feeling very unwelcome. Please train your staff!Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 25 May 2024
- James M1 contributionHard to faultMe and my family went in half term week so we were expecting a bit of a crazy experience. Surprisingly, it wasn't too bad and I think that's due to the fact the park is a lot bigger than you would think and surpasses what you imagine may be available on a small-ish island. Rides catered to all ages, from tiny small waterparks with slides, to really really big waterslides that make you wonder if it's worth the risk!! Loads of areas to the point we didn't have time to get to one. All in all it was clean (toilets were immaculate), spacious, food was above average and so overall a great experience. Main negative comment I read was about the staff, and to be fair they are all young and given they are dealing with hundreds of people daily, aren't looking to strike up a close bond! That said, no one was rude so I didn't have any complaints there either. A fantastic experience and well worth a visit.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 30 May 2024
- Joe G156 contributionsGood but too price gougeyI'd rate 3.5 stars, but there's no option for this. It's a well laid out place, but after the (too high IMHO) expense of getting a family of four in, you then have to pay 7 euros for a locker?! Food/drink really expensive, but we had read this and brought our own food/ drink. Still, had a nice day, and it seems the reason why they stop you all wearing hats/ sunglasses (madness in the hot sun) on the rides, is so their facial recognition software works and they can sell you photos (give you a card with a QR code on when you leave, you then upload a selfie and it shows you photos you were in). Not OK with this, especially with children. You could say, well that's ok, I'll just put them back on afterwards- sure leave your hats and potentially expensive sunglasses on the floor while you queue/ride....no. So, it's back and forth to the lockers? They have a nice place, just stop with the price gougingVisited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 10 June 2024

Very disappointing. Almost half of the park was closed. One restaurant was open, only one pool open and even new slides were closed.
The food and drinks are mega expensive and you have to pay for sun beds while already paying 30€ for a half closed park?
I feel like it’s way too expensive for what you get right now. Don’t recommend going this late in the season because they don’t bother to keep everything open and running. I expected so much more from this experience.

Hello, thank you for your comment and your visit.
Actually during this season only two attractions have been closed. The rest continue to function without problems. Regarding closed restaurants, please bear in mind that we are in a complicated season due to covid19 and there are restrictions regarding capacity and restoration by the government.
Thanks again for your visit.
All the best,

If you want to have fun, go. Me and my boyfriend went(both 18, on our first holiday together). We had a great time. It is what you expect when it comes to theme parks prices. Not too bad though, what you would pay in the uk. The lockers are €11, you get €5 back after returning the key. Make sure you take shoes with you that arnt too expensive, flip flops etc, as the floors are unbearable to walk on! it’s like lava. Also really recommend paying the extra €20 for fast pass and you will not want to be waiting in the heat with no shade. it speeds things up a lot more and makes it so much more enjoyable. If you’re prepared to pay it, go. If not, it’s not worth it!

Visited here with my Wife and 2 children aged 8 and 2, along with another couple and their 7 year old daughter during a weeks stay at the Sol Barbados recently. We purchased our tickets from the hotel, costing 88 euros for my family, which included a free bus, which seemed pretty expensive in my opinion.
We opted to travel by taxi which was just under 6 euros from the hotel, probably could have walked, but with 2 kids in the heat, we chose otherwise.
We arrived around 10.30am, no issues getting in, no queues etc. The park was quite busy on arrival, and we opted for a grass area where you could place your towel, or rent a sunbed for 5 euros. If you have food, be careful of ants, as there are plenty understandably. As the entrance fee was expensive, the cost of a sunbed did seem pretty bad in my opinion. We also wanted to keep our stuff safe, so had to rent a locker, this was at a cost of 11 euros, but you get 5 back on return of the key. This again seemed a little steep considering the entrance fee.
The park itself had lots of slides and catered for all ages. I attempted some of them myself, and had a real good time, as did my children. Considering it was peak summer, the queues were not that long apart from one ride which did take a while, in excess of 30 minutes. You can get a fast track pass, but again this is extra money on top of an already expensive entrance ticket.
We bought food in the park, and again your looking at 16 euros plus for a burger meal. You can take your own though. Snacks, drinks etc were all expensive.
Overall a good day out, park had some great slides and pools, but it can turn into a very expensive day out with extra purchases.

We visited in Aug so was expecting it to be very busy but it really wasn’t that bad. We got there at 9.30 (opens at 10) and headed straight to the lockers. By doing this we avoided the queues and were able to get on the big slides straightaway. I noticed at about 10.30 a very long queue for the lockers which was still there at 12 so get there early! We went on every slide more than once, there are quite a few big rides as well as 4 child friendly areas. I paid extra for sunbeds however if you get in early there are plenty of free sunbeds as well as grassed areas. The food was nice but pricey! €60 for two pizzas and two drinks, if you can I would recommended taking your own picnic and using the picnics areas dotted about. The flooring gets boiling hot so I would def recommend pool shoes for the kids, you can leave your sliders at the slide entrance. The only real negative is the fast pass system, to book this would have been an extra €88 so I thought we’d risk without. Normally at parks there are two q’s and they still take it in turns to keep the normal line moving. I noticed there was never a queue for the fast track but what people were doing is going on the ride, getting off then going straight back on (family raft rides) this meant that the normal queue actually didn’t move until these particular families had finished their numerous turns! This is where the young staff need to handle it better and should be policing the queues. We got a taxi from Palma nova for €7 and there were plenty waiting outside to get back in. I also booked online tickets which was cheaper than booking a day trip. Overall it’s well worth a visit and the kids age 9 and 11 had a great time.

Great day out if a little on the expensive side once you’ve paid for transport ,food and admission was over 200euro for 2 adults and a child. The water park had some great slides to offer even for young children. My daughter who was 6 loved her time here and was exhausted by the end of the day. Staff were friendly and food was ok. The transport was long , around 2 hours from Alcúdia. Everything was clean and was not to busy in September so queuing for the slides was not a problem, overall a great day out!

Spent a brilliant day here the whole family had so much fun! Plenty of choice for everyone think we counted 12-15 slides for adults and older kids and still plenty of slides and things for the younger children.Driving past it didn’t look very big or very good and at €112 for a family if 4 I didn’t know whether to go so glad we did kids said it was the best day of there holiday.
Be careful in the wave pool they have big buckets that fill with water then fall the water hits with a lot of force my pants came down and it also happened to someone else abit later that day!
Lockers were available at €6 and €5 deposit.Food drinks etc were expensive as you expect at somewhere like that we had 2 cokes 2 ice creams €17
The floor also gets very hot so recommend keeping flip flops on or even better get beach shoes so you can go down the slides in them. They we’re very strict on swimwear my daughter had sunburn but wouldn’t let her go on slides in a cotton T-shirt and were telling someone else about his shorts as they were cotton and not proper swimming shorts.
Taxi from Santa ponsa was €8 and took about 8 mins the number 123 bus stops outside and is about €5 for a family of 4 but takes about 30mins the price is each way.
All in all great family day for everyone would highly recommend. We went and it had only been open for 4 days so hardly any queues as the park was quiet can imagine come high season queues will be very long and hot.

Regarding clothing, it is not possible to use attractions with cotton t-shirts, but it is possible to use t-shirts designed for water (with UV protection) that are common today and can be purchased inside the park.

Could be better, could be worse. Everything is massively overpriced. We went on a Friday morning and arrived for opening at 10am and left by 11:15. No queues on the slides which was great so get there early. We did the slides we wanted to do but everything else is a bit disappointing. Everything costs a lot of money but doesn’t seem that the money is going back into the park itself as it’s very outdated and some of the walkways (wooden) are borderline unsafe. A bit of paint over the winter on the bottom of the pools wouldn’t go amiss as at the moment the missing paint gives the impression the pools are dirty.
€60 for one hour in the park, had a fun time but won’t be returning.

Read a few comments on here and can fully understand some complaints/comments. Personally its the 4th time we visited here on 4th August (2 adults 2 teenagers) and we loved the place......again!! We purchased our tickets and the fast pass tickets approx. 2 days in advance of going to the park and its definitely worth it!!! We managed no more than a 10 min wait at worst the whole day. Most of the rides we were straight on much to other peoples annoyance but I suppose having been before I knew what it felt like which is why we purchased the fast pass tickets. Now its a personal decision if you don't want to purchase the fast pass tickets (which I understand completely if you don't as I have done in the past), but personally for the fun we had when we were there and the time saved I'd definitely always buy the fast pass tickets. We reckoned approx. that we had been on certain rides 5 or even 6 times more than other people we kept passing in the other queues now I appreciate its expensive but come on your on holidays splash the cash and try having some some fun that's what you go for ain't it!!!!! Staff and lifeguards were always friendly definitely cant complain. Everywhere was clean and tidy on our visit a lick of paint here or there I can certainly live with, keep up the good work.
Will definitely be back!!

Really enjoyed our day out here.
Staff friendly and the whole place was clean enough.
In hindsight I would go during the week as it was very busy on the Sunday and queues were long.
Food very expensive but you can bring your own for a picnic which loads of people (locals?) did.
Overall a great day out.

We went as a family of 3. 2 adults and a nearly 2 yo and absolutely loved it.
It wasn't overcrowded like Siam can be. Plenty of space for walking about, queues not horrendous, and loads of sunbeds.
The queue for the fast pass desk was in fact longer than the queue for rides most of the time! (End of July!)
I was worried my toddler wouldn't actually be able to do much but I was so wrong. There's at least 3/4 pools with loads of slides for small children, all with water less than a meter deep. (Av. 0.5m)
Food expensive and only ok, not the worst but definitely overpriced but what do you expect. Bring a picnic. Pool shoes essential. Sun loungers are 5 euros each to rent for the day or just put a towel on the grass for free!
Lockers available.
Entry price is half-price if you buy your ticket at one of the partner parks (marineland or aqualand)
Definitely recommend

Hi! The friends pack allows you to purchase 4 adult tickets at a better price than if they were individual. It's online exclusive. Tickets online are valid from the day after purchase and allow you to visit the park on any day of your choice during the indicated season.
