World famous, are visited since 1898; inside is lake Martel, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world, where live classical music concerts are performed every day. You can cross the lake on a boat at the end of the concert. BEWARE, there are two caves to visit in Porto Cristo, the largest and more frequently visited are the Caves of Drach. We advise to get tickets online from our web page, the same price than at the ticket office and you don´t need to print it.

Thank you vey much for your commentaries, and sorry for your disappointment about the visit. The whole visit takes more than one hour, and the length of the path into the caves is about 1.200 metres, so normally visitors have room and time enough to...More

Lovely & interesting place. Unfortunately, also very, very crowded. The classical music concert at Lake Martel would've been even more impressive of people just would've compiled with the instructions & had refrained from taking pictures for 5 minutes...

This was a great place to visit with Europeans biggest underground lake. After walking through the caves down to sea level you have the amazing professional classical musicians appear on a boat with a piano. Great Experience

I have visited quite a lot of caves the past years, and I have to say this is one of the most beautiful caves I have seen! However, everything else was a complete dissapointment. You are directed into the caves like sheep. 100-150 people at...More

Bad news first (and the reason why I gave only 3 out of 5). There are announcement saying no video and no camera before the performance on the lakes. People sitting in front of us, people behind us have their cameras on and filming and...More

Agree with the first poster, positioning near the bottom left (as you face the water) of the seating would put you in a good position. The other thing is to be near the aisle and 'ready to go' when the show ends....basically... More
