This has become more popular in the last 15 years, but note, you will find folks here who prefer to sunbathe in the nude :) The waves here can be very very powerful, and the undertow very dangerous, so most people either just sunbathe, or...More

Very commercial and ordinary, nothing we haven’t seen in so very many other places. The Mirador always appears to be closed.

It is fascinating to see the salt being formed and claimed from the sea. The works have a pleasing geometry on a wild volcanic island, with some lovely colours. I have gone here on a couple of occasions at sunset and got some fabulous photographs.

We just stopped there on our way to the national park to look at the salt mines from closer, interesting view. Met a friendly cat there as well!
