Village Medieval de Pals is a Middle Ages town very well preserved and it is located in Girona Province, in the North of Catalonia. It is a well known town, where you can see some old buildings and walk around these streets. Also, it is a typical tourist place, where you can see some bars and restaurants. The place is very nice and you can visit some places like the Sant Pere Church (the main one in the town), La Torre de les Hores (a tower lookout in the middle of the town), Josep Pla Lookout (a place to remember this writer and from where you can see very nice views of the sea and the surroundings of the town) or some other places. Very good place to visit.

We experienced the village almost by mistake whilst looking for a specific ceramic store. Visiting in September, it was overcast made the visit easier around the buildings. Parking was free in adjacent car parks and plenty of spaces. Great photo opportunities and less crowds. Somewhat spoiled by cheap imported tourist tat shops, but also surprisingly unique outlets as well. Ceramica plan as marques in the square a particular example of special items. Would return again when in the area.

Going to Pals is like entering the past. It is a medieval town with a lot of charm. Unfortunately, summer is non-ideal with the heat and almost nowhere to shelter from the sun. There is a small tourist office, but not as much information on the town as I would have expected. The tower closes at 2 pm if you want to see it. Parking for non-residents is extremely difficult, and you need to ask for help in order to not get a very expensive fine. Overall, would definitely recommend, but very early or late in the day to avoid extreme heat and parking woes.

While staying in the wonderful medieval village of Peratallada we popped up the road to visit Pals, which is another beautiful medieval village. With its maze of narrow streets and fascinating buildings this really is a photogenic place, with a great photo opportunity around every corner. There are lots of very good tourist shops as well as cafes and Pals is well worth a visit.

Great little medieval village and well worth a visit. We were there in November so very few people about which was very pleasant as in Summer I presume it can get very crowded. A couple of hours well spent.

This is a really beautiful old village and well worth a visit.I'm sure it can get very crowded during the high season but we were there in September and fortunately there were few tourists around.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants and you will be spoilt for choice.
There is a free carpark just a five minute walk from the centre and there is also a useful tourist information centre.

Beautiful & charming medieval village. Well maintained medieval architecture. It is off season this month so restaurants or stores were closed. No souvenirs! It’s feels like a ghost town however, it’s always nice to have the place by ourselves, almost. All we can do is admire & take pictures. I preferred to have visited when the businesses are open. I heard there singing & dancing around summer time

Really beautiful medieval village with lots of history. Wish we had more time to explore. Take a walk around the town and have a cappucino in one of the cafes.

We went there expecting amazing sights but there weren't many and certainly not enough to spend much time there.
Nice area though.
