    It's OK , but...
It's OK. It needs more indoor eating places/places to sit indoors for coffee. Starbucks was heaving. I'd dread to go on a busy day. Some nice shops but not as many as I was hoping for. It was clean and airy to walk around, but my main complaint was the amount of dogs, it was ridiculous. It beats me why people insist on taking their dog shopping! I am a real animal lover but there's a limit and I got sick of dodging pooches who insisted on sniffing, jumping and barking at other dogs. They were allowed inside cafes which to me is just not acceptable. There should be an area outside to sit with a dog.

    Very limited range of shops
Very little choice compared to other retail outlets. Ok for sportswear but only a couple of ladies clothes shops and nothing for children. Prices were comparable to online shopping so not really bargains. Limited food outlets unless you want burgers or pizza. On the plus side there is plenty of free parking, spotless loos and umbrellas to borrow if the weather is unkind

    Great little shopping outlet
We have visited Mcarthur glen several times. I am mainly drawn to the Yankee candle shop. Its amazing, great prices and choice. Also love the Sketchers outlet. Always good customer service here. Really love the fact that it's dog friendly too. Toilets are amazingly clean and tidy and spacious. A Marks and Spencer outlet would be useful and maybe a few more ladies fashion shops but all in all a lovely few hours out. There is also a nice walk at the back, ideal for the dog.

    Classy, modern shopping village
I visited McArthur Glen West Midlands for a short shopping trip. I had visited the East Midlands one before and I think I preferred West Midlands! The place was modern and classy. Everywhere was clean and tidy, especially the loos, which were very fancy indeed! A good range of big shops and good sales on. I felt that the restaurant options were broad, with Pizza Express for a sit-down meal and Five Guys and Slim Chickens for fast food. Five Guys was too busy so we had Slim Chickens. Overall, a really positive experience.

Good for mens clothing and sportswear but not for women
Live within walking distance. Good for the town etc, good for sportswear and mens clothing but very little indeed in way of women's clothing. Would always have to travel further out of area. Only crazy unaffordable priced shoes and bags. Even hobbs and phase eight has already closed down. Clothing wise for women, don't bother.

    Good visit
We stopped here on the way back from Nottingham to Birmingham. It was raining but they provide umbrellas. It’s very clean - the toilets are even clean which is a big thing given how many people are there. Clearly signposted inside and all feels very secure.

This was the biggest disappointment I’ve had at a shopping centre of any kind. The shops were poor quality with very little quality inside. The designer clothes in Lacoste Fred Perry ect were not wanted material sent to them to sell.

Shocking designs and the Nike store “wow” this was poor and the worse I’ve seen. The waiting for food time was so so poor. 35 mins for a plain burger. And five guys well that’s was 40 mins for a burger and milkshake and cost me
£14.95.

In slim chickens the staff handling the fresh veg and trimmings had no gloves on what so ever hence our plain burger. Disgusting really. Five guys did have gloves on.

There is nothing for children to do what so ever. And allowing dogs to walk around and allowing people to hold them inside the shops where food and clothes are is a big no no.

It was boring uneventful and rubbish visit. Never again and this is a review of the absolute truth. Don’t waste your time

Of ALL the outlets in the UK this is the most visually appealing designed in old New England fashion which is very reminiscent of the Simon Malls in the USA.

Obviously being brand new it’s bright and shiny and spotlessly clean, a few shops are still vacant but I sure they will fill as the outlet becomes busier.

The pricing seems far more reasonable than Bicester as you don’t have the London tourist loading and staff are all welcoming and friendly.

Food is readily available with Wagamama and Five Guys heading the list, also a number of street vending units plus Starbucks.

The service we received in Gant was second to none with the young man who served us going out of his way to ensure we found what we wanted.

We visited at 5pm on a warm sunny Saturday and it was buzzing, well done and thank you McArthur Glenn

We drove 40 minutes to get here and was faced with a massive queue, it was also poor for social distatncing people were less than a metre apart. You have to queue to get into the complex then queue for all the shops. It wasn't my idea of a good day out especially in a pandemic. Poor show and organisation overall. We turned around and went home. I wouldn't recommend going here, especially if you want to avoid large crowds of people not social distancing. Go to Cheshire Oaks instead it is a much better experience and feels safer.

Ok if you have never been to Cheshire oaks , but if you have , go back !
Hardly any food stalls coffee shops , so you end up queueing , and you q for most shops , very few big discounts, pretty standard prices . Good collection of steps but pretty small for such an outlet . If you are local it’s ok but don’t travel a long distance until it doubles the stores and has some food outlets .

Went to visit Wagamamas with my family today.

We ordered all our food and I found a very long strand of hair that I showed a member of staff in my plate and she saw this attached to my 9 month old baby sons plate of food as-well as my plate also

I spoke to one of the staff and then they advised they would change the plates for us which is a standard procedure as this is Food & Hygiene…

The manager came over and said he will replace just the 1 plate but I was not happy and said the hair was attached to 2 plates so I wish for both to be replaced and I felt at this point he just had no care that there was hair on both plates as he only wanted to replace 1 plate ??

My plate got returned fresh and my sons plate was exactly the same as I ordered him which was breadcrumbed sweet potato and Butternut squash.. I knew this was the same as I peeled the crumbs off this so that my son could eat this finger food comfortably..

But they left all the peel on the plate in the same way I left it, at this point I was very livid as we are spending money and the fact they could not provide my 9month old baby with fresh food was disgusting !!!!!!!

The manager then advised it’s not the same plate he watched the cooks do this, but I watched him walking up and down the restaurant so he was not watching this food being prepared, he argued with me to the point I had to say I will not pay for this food that had a hair in you have give my 9month son to eat off.

My son had to sit there and watch us as a family eat food he fussed and moaned and was very discomforting for us all.

I will never again eat at this restaurant ever again the service was absolutely appalling.

Advise on this Wagamama's check your food before they give it you might not be fresh at all if you care about what food you want to give to your children/babies !

9 month old baby they did this to disgusting!!!!

I have been a few times now since it has opened at the end of lockdown. We were hoping due to lockdown and covid this was the reason for lack of designer shops. However some time later and still a lack of decent shops. Cannock is no chershire oaks it's not even close. If you want some crockery go to cannock if you want decent clothes then don't. I also feel the deals aren't anywhere cheaper than cheshire oaks and mostly the same price as high Street regardless of what the sales staff suggest.
Also a massive annoyance for me. Regarding WiFi. The outlet don't give you the discount cards anymore the same as other places you have to use you mobile. However the WiFi has never worked when you connect to theres and you can't get a signal for your own. On most occasions the staff give you the discount when they witness you can't get online but some power Hungary freaks still refuse.
You can also walk around the hole site within 10 - 12 mins it not big at all.

Hugo Boss and Lacoste Staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and non judgemental. All supported me with purchases, made recommendations and gave honest open truthful opinions. My daughter has autism and Lacoste Staff went out of their way to make her visit enjoyable and relaxed with no rush. Hugo Boss staff couldn't do enough for us from helping us to choose the best purchases and again talking their time to make you feel welcomed and like you were a guest. Thank you to all the Lacoste and Hugo Boss staff, your excellent customer service has meant these are my new selected and chosen clothes choice. Your staff reflect your brands and you should be vert proud of them.

Fantastic!
I’m a bit baffled as to why people keep comparing it to Cheshire Oaks and Bicester! They’re amazing but I’ve not seen one piece of marketing by West Midlands that indicates it’s trying to be any of those things - bit like going to your local zoo and comparing it to a safari experience 😂. It is a more intimate and smaller branded outlet.
Anyway, fantastic atmosphere, easy to navigate when you’re there, easy to find and so much better than bring in a stuffy shopping mall!
There are some units that are yet to be filled but keep supporting it and that will come in time.
I found a few bargains but as with any of these outlet places, you have to strike at the right time. X

Highly satisfied and surprised with this outlet. First time going and it won’t be the last. Much smaller than Cheshire oaks but still worth the visit. Despite the smaller size, there is still a good range of shops. Toilets were really nice!! Again nicer than Cheshire oaks - lovely design, clean and actually smell nice!!
Also want to say that the Starbucks staff are amazing!! I didn’t manage to get their names but it was a man with a beard and a young girl with a pony tail who served me - they were so friendly and welcoming, they really know how to provide good customer service. My visit was 28/09/21, so the staff that were on after 6 - it was them 😁
Great shopping trip, finished with a warm pumpkin spice latté🤩

The only access from the disabled parking area at the front is via steps. This shows a complete lack of regard and consideration for disabled people.
Also the queue barriers outside the shops were not wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair in most cases, they had to be moved by myself in order for my wife to be able to enter. A wheelchair user visiting on their own would struggle to enter and navigate the stores. We won’t be returning anytime soon.
