I'm a regular visitor to Fairburn Ings and am never disappointed. It's a great place to walk and enjoy nature - especially the bird life. There are often activities available for children: whether with families or in a school party - including pond-dipping in the summer. (Probably a bit nippy at the moment)! This morning's visit brought 50 species, including... More

Ace nature walks off the RSPB centre. Couldn't ask for more opportunity to see all sorts of birds and animals. Ace for the nature lover.

Fairburn Ings is a gem of a place. The layout of this RSPB site is brilliantly constructed, and clearly designed to suit all ages and abilities, and those of various interest in birdlife and nature; whether they be newcomer or seasoned twitcher. The main park entrance is located a couple of miles west from the village of Fairburn, and is... More

We are members of the RSPB and thought it was time we visited. We walked around the main lake and took a few photos, and enjoyed seeing swans, ducks, heron, egrets and small birds such as Tits, Goldfinches, bullfinches and a very fleeting glimpse of a kingfisher. Had coffee in the visitor centre. The shop in the visitor centre is... More

I love visiting Fairburn Ings, Its not too far from where I live yet within a couple of miles I feel as though I am out in the country, love the wildlife that visits through the season, too many to mention they are all my favorite. The RSPB staff are always very helpful, its a great place for everyone

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, accessible for all, lots of wildlife, a great walk, good viewing platforms, large car park, lots of choice in shop. Only thing taking it down a star is the price of the food, but that's only an issue if you don't bring anything yourself.

I have always come here with my family and it's really special to me as I have lots of memories. Loads of birds and animals to see and it's nice to relax and get away from the city and towns. The staff in the shop are so nice and friendly and it's just such a lovely place, couldn't recommend it... More

Watched the birds and swans on the Ings for half an hour before the cold forced us in to coffee shop. This was basic but provided a good hot coffee. will try again on a warmer day. Would be great for kids as looked like some good walks

Such a lush and pretty view everywhere you turn, lots of nature and birds you'd have no chance of seeing in your garden. Fantastic.
