I was gifted a Half Day Falconry experience back in December 2019 which me and my dad were going to do that had to be postponed due to COVID. We were finally able to do it this year in April and they even let my mom take part which was such a lovely gesture for the delay! We were greeted by their amazing team and had an amazing half day experience led by Fiona! Fun and friendly approach and we got to meet so many amazing birds and we learnt so much! 🦅🪶 Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back again to visit for the vulture and eagle experience ✨

Fantastic time out. Very friendly staff. An amazing number of birds there and so many flying. When some folk are having the flying experience (an extra payment) you are still able to stay and watch. Excellent value and very worth a visit. Just been awarded charity status and also liaise with other centres in raising chicks to re-wild.

Falconry Centre It’s a little strange going through the garden centre to get to the Centre, but don’t be put off. We visited on Monday 21st September and had the morning Birds of Prey experience as a Christmas gift, a different sort of present and for some not entirely welcome. However, the morning was everything we could have wished for. You get up close and personal to the birds and one even enjoyed having its neck scratched, a novel experience. And all the birds looked a picture of health with a fantastic range of plumage. Now while having the birds fly onto your gloved arm was a wonderful experience, there is no doubt our guide/presenter/expert/handler made the day. She had patience and humour in abundance and unlike lots of guides she accommodated all our questions quite happily. And I interrupt quite a lot simply because if I don’t, I forget the question! And I actually learned things that were of interest to me. The result was a morning where attention only wavered when we were distracted by the birds. We were lucky in the weather and as we were leaving we just had time to catch the flying experience, which was beautiful and exhilarating to watch, particularly in an arena that could best be called compact. The crunch question. Will you go again? I hope you realise what our answer will be. Yes, yes, yes, and even our one reluctant visitor enjoyed the day and overcame a lifelong fear of these beautiful but intimidating birds.

My wife and I have just returned from a half day experience. I recommend a visit , as we had a wonderful time seeing and flying the birds of various sizes, Gem our display guide was very informative and her excitement for their birds at the centre was very infectious. Highly recommend and we will be booking again, next time to see the bigger birds!

A great day out for both kids and adults alike, fantastic value and that also includes the gifts and food. The selection of birds was really good, seeing birds we’ve never seen before. The show is another level, very informative by all the staff and it felt all the birds got brought out to see up close. At 90mins the show is probably the best show we’ve been too and we’ve been quite a few zoos/centres around the country. Well worth the entry despite the downpour!!!
