About
New Century Cars has been established since 1972. It is the Harrow’s most famous Minicab Company known for its reliable services and proficiency. Our fleet is comprised of 200+ vehicles. That includes all sort of transportation vehicles, empowering us to offer a 5-10 minute’s services in all Northwest London. We are one of Harrow's prominent Minicab company that provides services for all purposes including VIP executive, weddings, airport runs and stations covering the entire areas of Harrow, Pinner, Rayners lane, Ruislip and nearby towns. All our drivers are given rigorous training in customer relationship. Plus it’s made sure that they are well aware of all the localities allotted to them. Drivers are also equipped with latest GPS technology and PDAs that run our integrated software system. From dispatching drivers to picking up the passengers, all our system is computerized.

Absolutely abhorrent company whose operator is abusive, unreasonable and would find ways to charge you more during the trip or threaten to ditch you half way. Apparently this is not their first time and you would find similar one star comments.
This is exactly what happened to me as a tourist first day in London. After getting on the car, they first told me my booking was a cash booking and called me again and again telling me I have to pay. Despite telling them I’ve made the payment online with a credit card, they insisted otherwise. Later on, they found out they were wrong. Without apologizing, they began to come after me to accuse me of making a double booking, saying it’s my mistake and my problem, and that I have to pay 50% more for the second booking which I did not make. Otherwise they would ditch me half way. The problem is, after inquiring the operator, he said the second booking was made 11 days ago under a name I HAVE NEVER HEARD IN MY LIFE USING THE UK NUMBER I ONLY GOT ON THE DAY AT THE AIPORT (meaning it would be impossible for me to make the booking myself, not least a name I have no clue of). However, the operator refused to reason, began yelling at me, blaming me for everything, and insisted I pay or get off. So at one point, I was actually dumped on the road with my luggage. Only after I made that 50% additional payment in the middle of nowhere in a freezing weather in the winter, the driver carried on on the rest of the trip.
Never consider this company. It doesn’t even worth the one star here. Filing a complaint to the company apparently doesn’t work, so going to do that via trading standards.

Well all I can say is we had an amazing experience with our recent trips to and from Gatwick, both drivers so helpful and a credit to this company, thank you so much for looking after us

Driver 310 was extremely polite and well manner. Makes a change that somebody still goes the extra mile to talk and at the same time keep a high level of professionalism. Before I was picked up. I was phoned and the driver arrived as planned. Driver 301 should be an example of customer excellence throughout. Keep up this level of service

Abominable. Operator issued a telephonic threat and was abusive over the phone.
Speaks to customers extremely disrespectfully, including a threat to stop an airport run mid-trip and drop a family member on motorway with suitcases if payment not made immediately. This is after lying about having sent the payment link when booking was made hours before.

Booked a cab from Gatwick to home and the taxi was punctual. They sent me in advance the invoice by email, £89 including the various charges for the pick up at the airport, etc... I did not open the invoice when I received as my phone had little charge left that I wanted t save until I arrived home, so I was not sure about the cost of the transfer. When we arrived home I asked the dirver how much was and he said £99. I thought it was bit too expensive but did not remeber what they told me over the phone few days before when I booked it. Anyway, when I was at home I read the invoice and found that the driver charged me £10 extra without any explanation or reason! I can only imagine that he is dishonest and cheated.

I booked a taxi for 4.45 AM, and was sent the confirmation code. The morning of, at 4.15, the taxi was cancelled. Three days later, I phoned for a refund and was told this would be processed and never received the money, and had to phone a second time to get my money back. I wouldn’t use this company again. No apology was given for the cancellation or keeping my money.

Booked a car online to pick us up at midnight, cab took another booking more local for them and left us stranded, had to wait 30 minutes for a replacement cab! Poor show!

Usual airport transfer to Luton airport booked a month in advance, but two weeks prior to our departure,I got a phone call, that I must pay extra for a larger car(booked for two adults one child and two suitcases), I queried this but, for the sake of an additional £7 each way I let it go,(big mistake!) , Then here we go.....ONE HOUR before pick up on the morning of our flight, a guy rings to say the price has gone up again!! Talk about attrition, got me over a barrel, but I simply was not going to give in this time and had a major argument!
Out of principle, I booked an Uber and paid the extra money to them instead, rather than to this scamming minicab firm New Century Cars. On my return, I will be speaking to the trade descriptions office and possibly the Home Office border control!
