Appearances can be deceptive. Step inside the building and explore a range of rooms and exhibits. The museum seems to go on and on. Well laid out, changing exhibitions and plenty to keep all ages interested. Go out the back and visit the gardens and outbuildings. This museum is well worth a visit.

A tardis of a museum, it just goes on and up and down and round. Very interesting on both local and other history.

I didn't expect too much from this little museum but there was a wealth of information - more than could take in on one visit. Well worth a visit and a potter around for local information.

This is a lovely museum set in a beautiful building full of character. For a local museum it is full of interesting items to see. Free of charge and worth a visit.

If you're looking for something other than shops in Horsham then check out Horsham's museum. It's one of those wonderfully unexpected gems. It initially appears to be "just an old house" housing the local Tourist Office, but step inside and prepare to be amazed. It has something for everyone: art, clocks, a wheelwright, hats, shoes, cars and agricultural machinery -... More

My 8 year old daughter immensely enjoyed the Victorian Christmas Workshop with Miranda during the Christmas holidays, especially as she had been studying the Victorians at school. Miranda had prepared the workshop well, and adapted to the needs of the children there. Lots of fun was had, games played, and artwork a Victorian child would have been proud of was... More

I got there quite often as although the main displays are the same each season there are quirky new exhibits. A real tardis experience as it is larger than it appears especially when you remember the garden and outbuildings. Great for local history - though many exhibits are a bit eccentric.

Thank you for your wonderful review and for visiting regularly. You are absolutely right in that we have a revolving programme of about 24 exhibitions a year which are on a wide spectrum of topics encompassing the Museum's wonderful collections and the array of art and craftsmen that live in the Horsham District. We hope 2017 will provide some that... More

The exhibitions change regularly here so it is always worth popping in, it's free though how much longer it will remain so....
