On what Redbridge wore over 300 years. Nicely laid out, not quite finished when we called. One of London's pleasant local museums. Worth a visit

I recently visited the Redbridge Museum at the Redbridge central library. The recent topic was clothes now and then. The displays were all so informative about people of different backgrounds wearing clothes before and how clothing has changed since then. My daughter loved it!

For those wanting a small grasp of local London East End history, war memorabilia, this will hit the spot. Situated inside the library it is surprisingly quite spacious, plenty of room to walk about with kids in toe. All in all quite insightful and educational.

I was staying in Ilford for a week and wanted to know something of the history of the area. The museum is above the Redbridge Central Library with lift access. An excellent exhibition, well set out and with clear informative panels. It gave me a real sense of the past and a greater appreciation of the present.
