You have to walk around the Marina if you come to Portishead.
The flats that adorn marina must look picturesque in the summer.
The area is lively without being rowdy.
A very beautiful friendly part of Bristol

Not at all what we were expecting, a beautiful, bright modern area, lovely for a walk on a sunny day.
Surprisingly easy and free parking in the streets nearby.
The nearby town is unremarkable, but has a nice cafe (Shanicatti Shakes).
Portishead Marina is a surprise area and well worth a visit. Had a very pleasnt stroll around the marina after a very satisfying meal at the nearby Premier Inn. It's very trendy and not at all like a British destination. I'd definately reccommend visit.
