This small unassuming ‘shack’ has some interesting displays on view. The highlight though was Duncan. I spent hours with him chatting about family and scouring microfilm of old census and church records. A fantastic wealth of knowledge.

Excellent with displays of objects & records of Tiree life. Books on the history of Tiree for sale. Limited opening hours due to being manned by volunteers.

A tiny museum in Scarinish open until 1.00pm. Detailed information to give an overview of the social history of the Island. Donation of £3 per person. Resource centre for finding ancestors. Well worth a visit.

A really interesting exhibition which tells you everything you need to know about the history of this fantastic island! Gives you a better understanding of the life of the islanders and how their lives have changed over the centuries.
