I have visited Tiree once before...when I hired a bike; this time I managed to hire a car for my stay. Many white sandy beaches.....also had a look in at the local History Museum just a short distance from the harbour

Go if you get the chance - truly unspoilt. Gorgeous beaches, a wealth of wildlife, great for water sports if that is your thing - or terrific just to unwind and watch the sunset.

Spent a wonderful week on Tiree this summer with our children, surfing, walking and cycling everywhere, with friendly locals and empty, beautiful beaches, we're now planning our next trip back.
