my wife and i hiked here in august 2019. we are in very good shape physically and generally enjoy hiking so the hike was enjoyable and only a little taxing for us. at that time the path was pretty easy to follow. we had no issues on the way to the beach or on the way back. this beach is off the beaten path anyway, so having to seek it out, and then hike to it makes it rarely visited. it also frequently has rip currents and very strong waves. there are also no bathrooms, food vendors, or amenities of any kind. so most people avoid it. you have to plan ahead and bring a cooler with plenty of water. bring a lot of water. without planning ahead and bringing a lot of water this could absolutely become a dangerous trip. i WOULD NOT bring small children here. But for 2 fit adults we found it to be an absolutely beautiful beach and we enjoyed about 4 hours here in total isolation. the beach was pristine. the sand was a fine powder. on our visit the waves weren't crazy and we swam as much as we wanted close to shore. There was a small little natural pool that the rocks created that we enjoyed. we also climbed on the rocks. this ended up being the best beach day i ever had and is now my most favorite beach on Culebra and in the world. overall this was an amazing adventure and life experience. we plan on returning on all future culebra trips. i wish we hadn't waited until our 4th visit to Culebra before experiencing it.…

It might of been the nicest beach we visited on our trip.It wasn't crowded and we we found a great place to hang our hammocks.I was a little disappointed in the snorkeling. It wasn't as good as Flamingos beach.

From the sign we go in the jeep once the trail end we began to walk the distance its like 25 minutes. At the end beautiful and peaceful paradise with the hard sound of the beach. You have to be very careful in the trail use some athletic shoes. The hurricane Maria dropped to many trees. At the end we saw this beautiful portrait. This is not a a swimming beach. Just for relax. Culebra is a paradise.…

We were here two years ago and wanted to see the beach again as well as assess the condition of the trail post-hurricane. It is still a beautiful, large, secluded beach. Enjoy the views and peacefulness here. Imagine the turtles coming ashore to nest. We had it all to ourselves for the entire morning. The waves come crashing in here and we didn't risk swimming. We were 25 minutes hiking in (mostly downhill). The trail was easy to follow and wide for ~1/2 the distance and then a narrow but well-used footpath the rest of the way. The path winds through the woods and along the side of an old, washed out road. The lower branches and many of the downed downed trees had been trimmed. Near the end (when you can hear the waves) it crosses the old washed out road and angles off to the right. Soon after you arrive at the beach. The hike back takes longer as it is mostly up hill. It is not a long hike but I would not do it when it has rained recently (it would be slippery) and you need to be in shape to do the uphill return trip. Also, wear good hiking sandals and take water.…
