Be prepared for a sharp incline walk but once you're there it's an impressive building to look at from the outside a bit of a view. Not much else to do but it's an easy stopoff if you're exploring Seppetsfield Rd wineries.

Definitely a place to visit, the views are amazing and it is a beautiful tribute to the seppelts family.

Wouldn't say it is a must do, but it does fill in time between wine tastings. Fairly steep walk up to the Mausoleum but does give a good view of the surrounding vineyards.

This is on private property but has public access. It was absolutely amazing to read the story of this family and view the mausoleum, The roads around lined with palm trees are just beautiful. Well worth the stop

Perched on the top of a small hill, you reach by climbing stairs. Really steep angle. Gives a good view of local area.

Built in the village of Seppleafield and lined with high palm trees it is a very different attraction. It has an ascending ramp going up to it at about 40° incline and is very long. Enough to give the average non athletic person a heart...More

Got some good pics from the top, but very steep climb. Wouldn’t have wanted to be part of the crew bringing coffins up there! Phew. Lots of history though.

Walked up to the mausoleum, the views are stunning, sadly someone has written on the back of the mausoleum. People need to show some respect.

Sorry, cannot recall exactly. Have checked some photos but difficult to ID. Glossy green leaf could be Escallonia, which is reasonably slow growing, doubt if box as too slow or privet too fast. Maybe send a ? to Seppelts
