Went on the Labour Day public holiday & it was very busy. No seating so put our name down and while we waited sampled the free wine & cheese taste testing. Ordered delicious cheese platter & trout. Both were very delicious. Lovely way to spend our afternoon.

Why not organized? Maybe 10 cars outside, 2 tour buses. Quite big place. We went inside and both tours took all space. Unable to see what cheese you have not even thinking to try. Very messy. They took all from space. If you doing or accepting tours make space for them so other people also can enjoy your dairy. Unfortunately... More

Went to Yarra Valley Dairy for a late indulgence in lieu of breakfast. Only one cheese for a free tasting but the tasting plate included five cheeses, delicious fig jam and an assortment of crackers and breads, All were delicious and the coffee was good. Yes, ithe shop was busy but we were able to sit comfortably, enjoy the view... More

Took a trip out from Melbourne on a Friday to avoid the weekend crowds! So great to be out in the country! Such a lovely spot for an early lunch. The cheese selections were great. We ordered a cheese platter, as you do and sat happily at a window bar overlooking the valley, munching away at a lovely choice of... More

Signage to find the place (coming from Coldstream) was poor. Once we got, only 3 cheeses were available for tasting, not all of them!!! We felt very jipped about this place, only two wines to try, Crowded and just a place to peddle stock - not a good experience...

I visited on a Monday with a group of people for work. There is produce displays everywhere making it difficult to walk around freely. They have lots of delightful things for sale ranging from wine, cheese and gift ware . To taste the cheese you had to line up at the counter- very slow and time consuming. I felt it... More

Dropped in for afternoon nibbles, cheese platter, ham and bread platter between four. Four great soft cheeses with ham off the bone, very enjoyable. Mid range price, however the quantity was more than adequate for four adults. Gift shop and perveyor of fine wines on site, staff are approachable, knowledgable and only to happy to help. Background music a bit... More

Delicious cheeses. Very localized. Gourmet items. Expensive but worth the visit. We loved the taste of soft cheeses.
