Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I took my husband here after a visit a few years ago and left a little disappointed.
I had heard that they offered a cider tasting but upon arrival soon learned they only offered wine tastings and had only one cider.
We decided to purchase a cider instead and found that it lacked a crisp refreshing taste and tasted like an old boot.
The service was good but we probably won't return.

Our first wine tasting of the day during our time in the Yarra Valley.
Tucked away in an unassuming restored shed is Yering Farm Wines. We were met by Jemma, who walked us through the history of the vineyard and a tasting of their wines. And don't miss out trying the Syder (apple cider) as the vineyard used to be an apple orchard.
Small family owned, great views, wonderful tasting.

A pretty rural and countryside cottage and vineyard in this area. The overall decoration and interior layout keep the Western cowboy atmosphere for the visitors. You can enjoy varieties of wine taste here before buying some good stuffs. Lots of antiques around the building are available. I can tell the owner tries to keep the original and lively environment, showing the nature and colorful evergreen fields / farms here.
My kids are interested to see what’s inside the barn / cottages at the backyard. You can relax yourself by sitting next to the wooden seats outside. The breeze, sunshine and air are so fresh and comfortable. Just relax and enjoy yourself in the countryside. Have fun and enjoy.

We spent an afternoon here with a large group of friends. The view was spectacular. Great atmosphere. Lots of shady areas to sit and have a relaxing drink. Plenty of wines to taste. Wine, cider and soft drinks available to buy.

This place has a great feel about it - rustic with antique furnishings.
The staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable during wine tasting. Loved the “The George" Cab Sauv. And we really enjoyed the cider also.

We happened upon this small family winery by chance and it was the best of three. Excellent and informed service even though they had just served a tour. Light and unusual whites and fun and consistent reds. There was even a nice, fresh syder. The setting was clean and airy. All in all a nice day.

This was a beautifully designed and run family farm winery. My husband and I shared a tasting paddle of mixed wines + cider. It was a very relaxing start to our Yarra Valley winery trip. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. There was plenty of room to relax here; indoor and outdoor seating.

Amstop on a wine private wine tour where the GUide took us to places that he thought that we would like, this was the second stop and boy was it different to the first
Old style building not concrete and glass, limited production, great selection of both estate wines and those with interesting animal names on them. modestly priced and great wine syder as a plate cleanser at the end.
Really good experience

Another lovely afternoon, rustic environment and genuine good hosts. Platter is always spot on.
Off the track and away from the commercial wineries.
Worth a visit.
