We had fun looking at all the cool art work, super busy. Not much sitting room if you wanted to sit and relax as it was packed. Definitely a warm day for a nice swim.

This is an annual event that takes place on the foreshore of Cottesloe Beach. Local and worldwide artists design their sculptures and install them on the beach. This years show was extremely good and would recommend it highly. Many interesting and quirky pieces of art.

Beautiful sandy beach with plenty of space to spread out. Tends to be windy so wear plenty of sunscreen to avoid turning lobster! Some good surfing days.

Cottesloe was the first place I lived when I moved to Perth and Cott beach was my local beach for 5 years. It’s a great beach, although the waves and currents vary a lot throughout the year and even throughout the day. Best time to...More

At the moment a place for modern art lovers, more than for beach goers. Luckily it was a cloudy day when I visited with friends, as there is little shade and the sun can be hard at Cottesloe. Even though it was a Thursday there...More

On my last day in Perth, a Sunday, I decided to get the train from Perth to Cottesloe for the sculptures by the sea. There was a free bus at Cottesloe train station, the Cott Cat, which runs you down to the beach and back....More

They have an art exhibition sculptures by the sea at present. Much visited by locals & tourists. There is an iconic building right in the sea front, built like an Indian hotel. Called Indiana tea house. Beaut restaurant, & coffee shop. Ice creams too. Excellent...More

There are no organised activities, just personal beach walking, night photography of the exhibitions if you are into it or eating dinner at a restaurant nearby

Sadly not for hire. If you go to the main Cottesloe beach there is plenty of shade on the terraces of lawn south of Indiana building.

It's around a mile from the Beach, so if you like Walking fine, otherwise if it was me I would choose a location by Cottesloe Beach which is superb
