More than just "bush" this bushland includes signage about early explorers and pioneers, camel trains and market gardens. Well worth a walk through the bushland

When walking around the dense bush land you can forget that civilisation is but a few 100 meters away. Even the busy Marmion Avenue doesn’t distract from the native wildlife whilst in the reserve. Great for dog walkers, cyclists and ramblers. Be warned it can...More

Little Miss and I ride our bikes through this hidden gem - best in spring, winter and autumn. Good for a quiet jog too but watch for rough ground. My favourite bit is the treed section in the north west corner near Mary and Hope...More

The fact this is untouched bush-land is both a plus and a minus. It looks like virgin bush and is a quiet spot with plenty of wildlife. At the same time there are few paved areas or facilities. We can't have it both ways though...More

Can recommend Star Swamp as a perfect place to unwind. You'll walk, you'll breathe, and you'll feel so much better for an hour or two in old fashioned bush-land.

I walk regularly through Star Swamp. It's a lovely park with natural Australian bush and plenty of bird life.

Either a great dog walk or a walk for yourself. The paths are easy, the bush is so quiet, yet so close to suburbia. Very interesting things to look at. Watch out for snakes when the weather is warmer. Feels safe as always someone around.

The Star Swamp Bush reserve is a great 2 or 3 hour hike through the surviving bushland. Don a hat and walking gear and head out for a stroll. Keep an eye out for the woild life and plants. While some rabbits have made their...More

Walk your dog or yourself. This little bit of nature within suburbia is a great way to spend a couple of hours. Get your ealking shoes on and see some nature.
