Like all the other beach's along this stretch of coastline, the ocean water is clean and clear (visibility around 4 metres). What will set Scarborough apart from the others is the foreshore projects (due for completion in a few years).

WA beaches are the best beaches in Australia. Really beautiful blue sea with white sand and hardly any tourists because they're all on the east coast!

If you don't mind sharing with noise from the building site - this will be until 2018 - then this beach is for you.

Enjoyed a couple of lovely walks along the beach. There's a nice walk to the nearby Yello cafe where you can order a really nice smoothie or coffee and walk back along the beach. The helicopters flying overhead serve as a reminder to watch out for sharks and take care with your swimming. The only downside was the wind which... More

Scarborough Beach is one of the best all purpose beach's in Australia. The reason I say all purpose is because its very good for surfing and yet a great spot to swim as well. The morning is the best time for a swim, before the sea breeze (Known as the Fremantle Doctor) comes in. Then it gets a bit rough... More

Cleanest manicured sand ever seen. This beach is great. Families enjoy this location. Clean water protected by life savers and all facilities nearby. Parking available and plentiful.
