The council has spent a fortune upgrading the boardwalk and making this beach side area into a gorgeous get away. Only 20 or so minutes from Perth, 30 minutes from Fremantle, we love this area as it is close enough to still feel connected but...More

Scarborough this time of year becomes quiet as the weather drops and tourists aren't as popular. This made for a great sunset swim in cool water that was great for a 10 minute swim. There's a skatepark and rock climbing area that's popular with children...More

A nice clean, white sandy Australian beach that we have come to expect in many places around the coast of the country

Visited this place on 13 Mar. There are still some ongoing construction going on but the beach itself is accessible. Nice beach and sand. Showering facilities and changing rooms are available for public use FOC.

One of the nicest and cleanest beaches I've been to, sand was very white and clean. Brilliant place for surfing, especially for beginners as the waves don't get too crazy.

Scarcbourgh beach sure is different than in the 1970's when I lived nearby. Tidy, clean, with sheltered spots, ample parking, lots of shops and restauarants and now...even a pool to avoid swimming with jellyfish or sharks. I plant o visit again and try Chocolat.

Even though Scarborough Beach is undergoing a lot of renovations and projects during my visit in March 2018, this is still a beautiful beach and will be a must see destination for Perth visitors. Brand new luxury hotels are popping up, plenty of restaurants for...More

Out of the whole of Australia that I have travelled extensively, the Western Australian Beaches ALWAYS draw me back and make me feel home IMMEDIATELY. Bondi Beach has NOTHING on Western Australias beaches, plus we have sunsets to die for!

We stayed right across from the beach and there were plenty of children swimming there. Best time was in morning before midday as the wind seemed to be breezy late in the afternoon. Most days we were there it was pretty... More
