Was almost put off by having to book, but it was well worth doing and after all booking was really only a courtesy phone call. The tour was really nice and personal, lots of good info on how this family run vineyard got started. The...More

The 'new beginning' (translation of meaning of Ata Rangi) is in their intimate guided wine tasting experience which is now available in 2018 by booking ahead only. I have long been a lover of Ata Rangi's iconic well crafted Celebre, this was a welcome return...More

We went to 7 wineries around Martinborough and ATA Rangi was the best! All the wines were delicious and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. We bought three bottles there and we hope to order some more from overseas. I can’t wait to go back!...More

This is a nice cellar door, though opens a bit later than the others. Friendly staff who knows their wines well. We enjoyed a few of these wines - more than we expected to. Pretty setting.

My wife and I visited Ata Rangi Martinborough [winery]. The tasting room was fairly full and subsequently a bit on the loud side. The server did a great job of keeping us going with the various wines. Nice stop if you're in the area.

There were 5 Ata Rangi wines to taste on our day at the door for a $5 tasting fee -- and that fee was applied to the cost of wine that we bought. While this small New Zealand winery has big reputation for serious Pinot...More

Wakes 10km to raise funds for local school - wine tasting as we went and delicious water melon snacks! Tasting stops staffed by locals and whole event sponsored by local businesses and townsfolk! Weather was perfect and the town Martinborough neat and welcoming.

The first stop of a recent visit to the Martinborough wine region. Don't get your hopes up for a full tour of the vineyards or the cellar - this is really just a straight forward cellar door. Our host was knowledgeable, shared some good info...More
