After a briefing and a short drive, we were off on our very scenic and beautiful 6km round trip walk through the Patuna Chasm. It had some challenging aspects, rope climbs, ladder descents and a walk through the river, up to a 3mtr depth. There’s...More

We’ve been to Martinborough many times but never discovered this amazing secret. Our Dutch visitors said one of the best things they ever did in NZ (after several visits). We all loved it. The best kind of water fun park for young teenagers. Just wish...More

Gorgeous, New Zealand's pristine scenery at its best. If this was Europe, this would heaving with people (in a bad way), but being NZ, you can practically have this treasure to yourself at <$25pp.

We are not the fittest of people but decided to book in the Patuna Chasm walk. We also booked in the Red hut accommodation which was excellent. The chasm was exceptional and we highly recommend this to all ages. Some of the areas need care...More

This place really is very magical, the walk along the goat track to the start was in itself very cool. I take my hat off to the farmer who has managed this track and for allowing visitors to see a very unique and stunning location....More

One of the best adventures we have done as a family, loved it and will be back with friends. Be prepared to get wet and be average fitness for the walk through the bush, just take your time and take in the surroundings!
