We had such a fun time here! I loved the interaction with the birds and all the different species featured. Most of the parrots are very gentle when taking food and some can even say 'Hello'! My favourite was the pair of white and pink parrots who kept saying 'Hello!' over and over again to us! The only things that weren't so good were the price (36 for 2 adults and one child - just a little on the steep side) and the limited parking. I also got a bite from one of the parrots which drew some blood so do be careful with some of them (The nippy ones are helpfully identified) and be sure not to feed the bigger ones food that is too small (essentially how I got bitten). Other than that I am very happy with our visit and hope this great place can develop further in the future! …

I cannot stop sharing my stories from this place! The parrots are so lovely and loveable! I had one that would not leave me for over 30 mins! ha ha. Great fun for the kids and kids at heart. The birds are truly breathtaking. Wish I didn't have a mini panther, because I'd be making one of these birds a home! They are wonderful as pets and I miss having birds. This experience really showcases some stunning birds! …

Hi, Summer is our busiest time of year and if weather conditions are bad we do sometimes put our larger birds that normally sit out on the stands away for their own safety.. These include Macaws, Amazons, Sulpher Crested Cockatoos, Red tail Black Cockatoos, Eclectus etc etc so as you can see we have quite a few large birds that are normally out. If you would prefer a less busy experience autumn and winter is an awesome time to visit.

Loved being where the birds will actually talk with you and will sit on your shoulder or arm. One surprising thing though is that there is only one Portaloo on site for a toilet and no signage to it at all, at the bottom of the garden. It was difficult for my old friend with her walking stick to be able to even get into it. I really would have expected better facilities for a public place where multiple visitors come.…

I am sorry you were disappointed with our toilet facilities. We are on septic tank and a portaloo was our only option to provide this service. Hopefully once we go onto mains we will be able to build a toilet block. There are public toilets a 30 second drive away at The Stone Store though. I am glad that you enjoyed the birds though, that is our primary objective.
