This is a very easy short walk and you will see some magnificent Kauri trees. There is a tricky gravel road to get there, which slows down your progress but all in all it's worth the hassle.

We really loved the kauri walk and the magnificent trees. The gravel road to get to it was quite long and tedious though, we may have gone the longest way possible. If you’ve got some spare time and a car it’s worth the effort but...More

This short easy boardwalk give a good idea of what a Kauri tree really is. The ground is very swamp hence the boardwalk. 30mins is adequate. Small car park but no other facilities. The last few miles of the journey is on an unsealed road...More
