I swung by Fireman's Field as there are signs all over Purcellville directing you towards it. It is mostly a sports field area with some general fields (little league was going on while I was there) and a gated larger field for more professional teams. There is also the Tabernacle, which is a roller skating rink. They also have a... More

Just off Main street, Fireman's Field has a combined baseball diamond and football field, nicely situated for local teams. The baseball field is top notch (having hosted the Little League World Series a number of years ago. Well designed for spectators with a good snack bar, although the limited parking usually means walking to a game. The Community Center right... More

We attended the Purcellville wine festival here and had a great time! It was the perfect place for the event with plenty of room for the vineyard booths and music stages.

My son plays football games at Fireman's Field (FF), among a few other locations, but FF is my favorite of all of them. The Good: Old-Fashioned feeling ball field surrounded by mature shade trees. Priceless The Bad: Parking is a bit limited, Seating and Fencing is beat up, Kids Playing in frront of the bleachers and people standing along the... More

The Little League World series was played here two years ago. The field is also used for football and for trade fairs and expos for the town. last year, there was a wine expo for Loudoun County held there.

Meticulously manicured field. I would have loved to play on a field like this back in the day. Music played over PA system between innings, etc., gets a little hokey and played-out.

Great facility and field for the 2013 13-15 year old Babe Ruth World Series. Plenty of parking except for all tournament events like the opening ceremonies and homerun derby but a near by community parking lot filled the need .

The organization of the event was well done, with plenty of food vendors at VERY REASONABLE prices. The viewing of the ball field was very good, with good bleacher seating. The speaker system was such that hearing the PA was very adequate without blaring. The restrooms were small and often a short line was had between games. The parking lots... More

Fireman's Field has been around for many years and has a lot of History. The field itself has been recently renovated and plays host to a lot of Championship Baseball. For a quaint Field of Dreams atmosphere plan a vist and see a good baseball game.
