We were pretty impressed with our visit to the Science Museum. It is on the small size compared to other science museums we have visited but what they had was fun and educational. On the down side, I thought there were too many exhibits that were "out of order" and I thought the admission charge was a bit high. But... More

Fun two-story Museum in Center in the Square that has grown more interactive, particularly for elementary age kids. Revised spaces now include a Makerspace, a coding space, and a large big blue blocks building area. Butterfly exhibit now included with regular admission. Large display of vintage video games that can be played without quarters at this time. Free garage parking... More

lots of interactive exhibits for the kids. They also have a rotating exhibit so there is always something new. The butterfly garden is well worth the extra charge

The Science Museum is great for young children, although several of the exhibits were not working. Our daughter enjoys the touch tank and the bug/reptile exhibits & the butterfly garden (not a lot of butterflies to be seen, & a very limited variety). They have a (temporary?) exhibit of electronic arcade games, which is included in the museum fee. The... More

Last week I spent $45 to take my two granddaughters to the Science Museum for a few hours on a weekday afternoon. What we found was an old, tired out set of untended exhibits. After paying extra to go into the Butterfly Garden, we found a total of about 10 butterflies, feeding dishes full of old bananas and ants and... More

Not a very big museum but was interesting. Didn't take long to see everything. It is located in a building with a number of other museums.

The butterfly house is not as big as some I have visited, but it is still nice. Touch tanks are great. There is an areathat has many old arcade games that you can actually play for free. Lots of fun for my daughter and my friend's son who had never seen arcade games like these.

Relatively speaking, it cost a bit but we stayed forever, so it was worth it. Tons of stuff to look at and do. The touch tank was a big hit, we were there a long time. And the volunteer working it was so kind and patient, answered endless questions about the animals, why they did what they did, everything.

They ship in chrysalises from South America. Because they are not allowed to have the appropriate host plants, there is NO WAY for the butterflies to reproduce. They only live a few days or a few weeks, so they just keep importing more butterflies. It's just senseless consumption of these beautiful butterflies. Really a horrible concept. They are damaging the... More
