Right in the heart of Staunton, the museum tells the story of Woodrow Wilson as an adult, depicting his personal, professional and presidential life. We thought it was very well done. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We highly recommend the museum and WW birthplace next door!

Went with some relatives. I guess if you're really into history, this might be for you. 12 bucks to get in and see a house of the time which includes a guided tour. Not that much about Wilson since he didn't spend much time there.

I have made the trip up and down 81 many times and this time, as I was alone, I thought I would stop and see the Woodrow Wilson birthplace and museum. Firstly, they get kudos for being open on a Monday and the fact that there is a good-sized parking lot located behind the houses. There is good signage leading... More

The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library is a fairly simple and underwhelming exhibit. They do not have the Federal funding that some of the other libraries have, so the museum may be forgiven for not being as comprehensive as the others. However, we didn't feel the exhibits had much to offer. It is certainly worth the visit though. Unlike the FDR,... More

I had not been to a Presidential library before - so this was interesting to see/ hear about his life. So many things I probably forgot from my grade school history. This really showed what you could do if you put your mind to it -Average student to President. the Bunker exhibit was OK - but look at everything upstairs... More

We learned a great deal about this president. The tour was delightful and informative. It was just the right length.

The museum helped me learn quite a bit about Woodrow Wilson and I felt it was nicely put-together. Some interactive exhibits, but mostly displays and explanations. Recommend this for Wilson fans or presidential aficianados.

Nice little museum, although surprised it is here given that Wilson only lived in Staunton the first six months of his life.

The museum was very nice. A lot of history. The house was okay but when you have seen one old house you have seen them all. The staff was very knowledgeable about The Wilson family.

If you are in Staunton the library is a place to visit. The library and museum are privately operated and are full of displays and interesting information.
