Had time in the midst of a cross country drive, and being a historian, decided to stop. Parking a little tricky to find (behind the house, down a slope). A little bleak on a cloudy December day, but bet gardens really lovely in spring. Lots...More
Nice exhibits, reasonably priced, parking is in rear of building. Nice garden area, well maintained grounds and museum. May not be a strong interest for kids under 15, unless they have a strong interest in history.
We had a nice visit to the museum and birthplace. Seeing the Pierce-Arrow limousine and WWI trench exhibits were highlights for me. Definitely worth a trip to learn about this man and his impact on the world!

Wandering around Staunton on a lovely fall evening, we happened by the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library. Although closed, we were able to view Wilson's gorgeous Pierce Arrow through the picture windows at the lighted garage. If you are in Staunton at night, check out this...More
While passing through Staunton, I stopped at the Library. While it is a small building, it contains a good collection showcasing the life and presidency of Woodrow Wilson. The Pierce Arrow presidential automobile was the highlight of the museum for me. I did not do...More
We visited the home before the museum. President Wilson lived here as a child when his father was Pastor. The tour guide was interesting and patiently answered different questions our group asked. The museum itself was even better. The exhibits thoroughly shared his life and...More
