Visited this museum after the 4:00 deadline for a tour of the birthplace home, but was still able to view the Presidential Library for $7. Learned a ton about the man that I didn't know. They had a small trench recreation from WWI in the...More

This library is not supported by federal funds; so they have done a beautiful job with it, We were shown most of the rooms in the house he spent his first years in. They do a very good job explaining about the three slaves the...More

Even though it is small and a bit expensive, I was glad I stopped. The tour guide offered some fascinating vignettes - such as the President's birth name was "Thomas Woodrow Wilson" and was called Tommy as a child. The President later dropped his first...More

This museum, although small, had many interesting exhibits about Woodrow Wilson's personal life, his presidency, and his family. In the basement is a unique exhibit that shows just what the World War I trenches were like. Reasonable admission fee. You can do the entire museum...More

But as far a presidential libraries go - it was not great. We've been to five other presidential libraries and this was the least grand. We did learn a lot about Wilson's presidency though.

Seeing the Wilson family home, the President's car, and interesting presidential facts made this a great place to visit.

Is the W.Wilson Museum etc. going to be open on July 3rd & 4th. Also, will the hours differ because of the hoilday. Had a typo before. Sorry for the confusion.

You will have to check their website. Being a Holiday like fourth of July, I would plan on them being closed as most places will close, but I have seen exceptions.
Cost of visit?
