We love it! In their summer camp the kids come home dirty, tired, and curious. Awesome place. They even have golf carts now for those that are not able to walk very far.

Thanks! Even though we're an outdoor living history museum, the Frontier Culture Museum is open year-round. Many of or annual pass holders prefer the winter when crowds are rare and visitors can wander the Museum at their leisure. Thanks for visiting!

One of our favorite places in Staunton. It was a bit cold yesterday and no one was in the houses, but we had a great time exploring in our own. Be in the lookout for the friendly kitties!

This place is a combination of history, outdoor adventure and beautiful countryside. Give yourself at least 2 hours as we needed more. Kids can run their little hearts out while learning something and parents can enjoy the beauty and history.

Stopped for their free Holiday open house and craft fair and spent a few hours walking around. Definitely need to go back and spend more time walking thru the different farm sites. Highly recommended.
