WISH THEY DIDNT KEEP SELLING PUPPIES
Oct 2020
Used to take the children years ago so decided to return. Not as nice as it used to be but the animals outside all looked well looked after. Why they can’t feed their rabbits better, even if they just provide hay when customers are there. Appreciate you want to sell bags of food to feed the rabbits but they are all so hungry when you do. Left feeling sad which wasn’t helped by the fact that they are STILL selling pups with their mums nowhere in sight. Shocking. Go to a rescue folks.

Very Covid Safe, lots of animals to look at and feed, big pens for them, able to hold small pets if wanted, animals looked well looked after, lovely little cafe. Reasonable price to enter. Would return!

Lovely little farm
Sep 2020 • Family
We had a lovely day at the rabbit farm today. Park is a little dated and its not an all day thing, we were finished in an hour and a half.
Lovely and friendly staff.
Lots of clean stations and hand sanitiser around the farm

Good for humans, hell for rabbits!
Aug 2020
I always leave balanced reviews on Tripadvisor, but as a rabbit owner/lover i felt compelled to leave a review.

The good aspects of this place is that kids that visit have a lot of fun. It is essentially a petting zoo with a range of farmyard animals. The price is also good and they have cheap bags of feed to buy.

I genuinely don't think they intend to misstreat the rabbits, they just need MUCH needed knowledge in how to keep them.

I have been keeping rabbits for over ten years and i love and respect them, here is a different place.

Firstly i am totally against rabbits being kept in hutches. Hutches were used in medieval times to store rabbits in before they were eaten, this is a tradition that has unfortunately stuck and it is to the detriment of rabbits all around the world.

I do understand that people keep rabbits in hutches, but it is important that if you do so you look after them properly. The rabbits at the farm were kept in small runs that were under basic cover in a makeshift hut. The rabbits i saw had no available hay, this is 80% of a rabbits balanced diet. People were feeding the rabbits pellets. Even if these pellets were hay based it is NOT the same as access to hay itself. The rabbits had plenty of straw, but this should not be eaten by them.

We went when the weather was extremely hot. The rabbits were all hot an bothered. Imagine being in the baking heat, with no fans and nowhere to escape! They should be looking after these animals by using ceiling fans to cool them down!

There was a young girl (teenager) in charge of allowing people to pet the rabbits and guinea pigs. She was very well mannered and polite, however it was obvious people who were handling the animals did not have a clue how to do so and the animals were getting extremely distressed and being wrongly manhandled.

We were given a little rabbit to hold and it upset me because this bunny was panting very heavily, with eyes extremely wide and ears stood up. These are all signs of distress, the rabbits were terrified. I saw a man pick one up and nearly drop one!

It has been scientifically proven that rabbits can be equally conitive as dogs and cats. They have personalities and can show happiness through binkies, and zoomies (youtube this if you don't know what i mean). Rabbits that are left in small baking hot huts, with the wrong diets and some completely isolated (when they are highly social creatures) is just WRONG!

Rabbits mostly sleep until mid afternoon and this is when they were disturbed.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look after your rabbits more. They are miserable. Would you treat a dog and cat like that?

Lovely place to visit

Not sure where the visitors below went but I think they’re getting mixed up!
There was a well signed one way system in place, the usual hand wash stations plus sanitiser at every entrance and exit.
9 of us had drinks from cafe and they were all nice plus they recommended a lovely little village for us to visit.
Well worth the money and our kids loved it.

never go there again
Jul 2020
we were very disgusted when we got there, no proper signs to show the way around , covid 19 rules very hard to stick too. people wondering every where in all directions, took our children there many years ago, they loved the place but never again. very few staff on hand to ask questions and the ones you do ask dont know anything about the place or the animals.

It's over 20 years since I last visited. Took a 6 and 7 year old during half term. Still as friendly as I recall! Lots of animals to see and feed. Fabulous staff in the cafe. Worth a visit, but beware..... They sell animals too 😉

Gone downhill
Oct 2019 • Family
We came here about 8 years ago and loved it. It has changed significantly since then. I have no idea what has gone on but it’s clear that things have changed. No staff manned the petting area where the rabbits and guinea pigs were housed. This meant a complete and quite sickening free for all for adults and children alike grabbing these terrified animals who were huddling at the furthest corner of their pens. The puppies had no bedding. It was an empty bed with no actual bedding in it. No hay or sawdust on the floor but a sign saying if you wanted to pet them it was an additonal £3.50. Upsetting and left within 30 minutes

Great day
Sep 2019
Another great visit here . We come here every year and are never disappoined by our visit . There is always something new to see or an improvment made to the place . Many years ago we bought two guinea pigs from here and had two nice pets for many years . I am always tempted by the puppies but having two of my own my husband draws the line . We are now bringing our granddaughter who is the same age as our daughter was the first time she visited and she is as enthralled as we all are . It is a definate must on our holidays to North Wales and to be recommended .

Such good wholesome fun
Sep 2019 • Friends
Go feed and pet the animals - you won’t regret it. For a reasonable price of £5 you can get in and then a bag of feed is 50p. There’s a goat, donkeys, pigs, a horse, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, pigmy goats, peacocks, ponies, sheep and best of all puppies! The rabbits, puppies and guinea pigs are also on sale.
