This is a much longer review that my past ones however I have attended Christmastown every year since it opened through warm weather, cold weather, rain and snow so I can speak from experience. It was a “once in a lifetime” experience a few years back when it snowed and the park was covered with real snow. The one time... More

We've been to several Busch gardens and the theme for this park (Europe) was a lot of fun. We were pleasantly surprised in that while the park was fairly crowded, we rarely stood in line for more than 10 minutes. My daughter went on several rides a few times! LOVE the pressed penny machines, the cheapest and best souvenirs anywhere,... More

I loved the Christmas lights, they were the best I've ever seen! My only complaints would be the heaters around the park should've been on earlier and especially in the Italy eating area, it was a cold dinner. Also, there were so many people, I thought I'd avoid the crowd by going earlier in the season, but nope.

For me it's just an amusement park ... unless you are a thrill seeker (which I am not) I just never really get much out of these outings ... actually nowadays its more about the kids and their fun ... so I try to enjoy it for them ... Obviously, everything costs so darn much so that's no fun ...... More

This was our first time to Busch Gardens and we went the first day of Christmastown. It surely sets the mood for Christmas. Lights, music, shows, rides, and food. We had a wonderful time. Waits for rides were all under 30 minutes. We saw most of the holiday themed shows that were offered. It must activity.

We went to the opening night 'Christmas lights show' the day after Thanksgiving. Our primary goal was so have fun with our 5 year old. Although, he enjoyed himself- it was a bit too crowded for us adults. In fact, it was so packed that we found it difficult to go on any rides. We saw three shows by making... More

What can I say that a dozen other people have not already said. We went early Sunday and got very good parking and beat the lines for entry. For the first time we stopped at guest services and got reserved seats for two shows. We also used the cashless bracelets. They save a lot of time as you don't need... More

Visited November 25th. Way to crowded, took over 2 hours to get into park line after line after line. Most if not all rides closed. Park was open for lights and several shows. Not worth time or money.

We purchased season passes for Bush Gardens and Water Country USA at a discount before the summer and enjoyed multiple visits to both parks. We particularly liked visiting Water Country USA during the hottest part of the day and spending the evening at Bush Gardens when it was less hot and crowded. There are enough attractions at Bush Gardens to... More
