We love to explore and hike a bit. There were many trails to choose and they were well posted. We walked along Fossil Beach and along the cute foot bridge. We want to come back and spend more time as there is a lot to see.

There was a wine festival going on and there were rides on Schooner Ships. These ships were ships that sailed in the 1700's approx.

This is a great choice for a day in nature around Williamsburg, VA. The park is located about 20 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg and sits on the York River. The park offers water rentals and even has a stocked pond for fishing. I grew up on the horse trails that allowed for great day rides and conditioning. The park is... More

The nature trail was relaxing and enjoyable. Always fun to reconnect with nature and take in the sights and smells.

The park is amazing considering it is self paced and walking on wooden planks through a beautiful untouched setting. According to what time of year that you go it can be a little warm so come prepared. Wear comfortable shoes. There is a lot of sight seeing and history in this area. You can make a day of touring the... More

We were there for a recent, scheduled event called Estuaries Day, which had a run and many activities foir children. This kept the kids engaged for hours. However, the fixed features ;ile interpretive trails, are always there and a real pleasure too.

My wife and I walked for over one hour on their trail. The trail was very natural, yet well maintained. It was not suitable for people with walking disabilities. It has lots of ups, downs and turns. We loved it.
