Our one-hour Ghostly Tales tour takes you through Williamsburg's historic area in the evening. You will be introduced to the historic importance of each site visited, you will hear of the local ghostly legends that surround them, and of recent encounters with the spirits that reside there. Our Walk About History tour is a one-hour introduction to the history of Williamsburg - its historical importance, development in the 18th century, glimpses into daily life of colonial inhabitants, and modern restoration. An excellent choice if you have limited time to visit Williamsburg, or are looking for an in-depth orientation before touring the town on your own.

Trish is very knowledgeable and passionate about Colonial Williamsburg's history. Our tour was intimate, consisting of only my girlfriend and I and one of Trish's friends' and fellow historian. Consider this tour to get a decent lay of the land as well as tidbits of very useful information and clever anecdotes.

This was our second trip to Williamsburg, but we learned much more on this tour. Our guide is a real student of the history and spoke from her heart. It definitely was not scripted and was independent of the corporate line. Just excellent.

Beyond a stock historical tour. Unique storytelling kept us engaged by going into greater depth than a typical schooling experience.

We had the Native American tour guide, she was awesome. I appreciate that its not called the "Slave Tour", like one of the tourist called it and I corrected her. It wasn't focused on slavery but more on the accomplishments of the African Americans in the area. It was a relaxed and comfortable environment for me and my teenage daughter.... More

My daughter and I ended up being the only ones in the tour (it was a weekday and one of the hottest days) but even still we had a great time! Learned so much history and a lot of ghost stories that went along with a lot of the houses. Very interesting and our guide was wonderful! Highly recommend.

Overall I enjoyed the Black History Tour and the Williamsburg Walking Tour. The docent was very knowledgeable and I was especially impressed that she presented to us several times throughout the two tours images and text from her three ring binder that showed us it means a lot to her. It's apparent she spent a lot of time researching the... More

Great views, history and delightful stories that kept my 16 yr old son and I glued to her every word! I would recommend it to anyone with an hour and a half of time! Worth every dollar spent!
