I go here several times per week to walk my dog. On weekends with good weather, the picnic areas are very crowded. However, there are lots of paths through other areas of the park for walks/hikes through the woods.

Always plenty of parking. Beautiful for walking, fishing, and hiking. Food for sale in the spring and summer months is nice.

What can I say? It's a state park. There's a cool amphitheater that's in ruins there and you'll also find some historic cannons while hiking. Virginia is beautiful so go on a nature hike here and enjoy the scenery.

Great place serving the Woodbridge area. Right On the water. Safe, fun and no weird activities. Police presence and park patrols keep it under control.
