Unfortunately, our recent trip to Bainbridge Island was a bust. We learned that day that when it rains in Seattle, it really comes down. Walking in rain is not fun and it is even worse when you go to an art museum with no art...More

Wonder exhibits of, generally, Northwest artists with new collections appearing about every three months. In addition, on the second floor, there is an incredible "book" collection, the likes of which you've likely never seen. A current addition to this collection are "books" from Iceland that...More

This museum is a very short walk from the Bainbridge Sesttle Ferry Dock, and well worth traveling to. The high caliber of the art work, display presentation, and restaurant surprised us, as Winslow is a small town. We so enjoyed our visit.

We truly enjoyed the art on display here. The book room was especially interesting. Friendly staff, beautiful outdoor space, and a great store, too! Next time we plan to eat in their Bistro (we arrived later in the day and it was closed).

Nice galleries and interesting exhibits. Went to see the retrospective Pohlman-Knowles show (through Sept.) and was very impressed by the spaces, the welcome, and the price — can’t beat free!

I’ve eaten at the cafe several times. Good food, mid-range prices. Their outdoor seating is nice (weather permitting)!
