This Is a Small Museum with Interesting Exhibits

Every time we visit Bellevue we visit the museum. It is small but has some great exhibits. The gift store also has some fun items to choose from.

Wonderful exhibits...beautiful venue with lots to see. Currently the Divine Ammunition and Quilts of the Sierra Nevada are being displayed. The work is phenomenal and so impressive.

I attended the Divine Ammunitions Exhibit, upon check in I was not greeted warmly at all, I was there to attend a lecture and they did not have me on the list, when I supplied my email confirmation I was made to feel as though I wasn't welcome. The lecture itself was amazing, but the check in was poorly handled.

It almost doesn't have any exhibits. The exhibits that it does have are not a good quality. I visited this place couple of times and not sure what its doing in the heart of Bellevue.

This caught my eye although I am not a very artistic person I gave it a whirl and I'm glad I did. Absolutely enjoyed every moment! I was kept interested and looking forward to what was next, beautiful work by many locals which is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Though small, the range of exhibits that BAM prepares is always a treat. Wether Madeline Albrights Pin Collection, Wood, Paper, or the recent Metalmorphisis you will be treated to new ways to think of art its creation. Recent trip on a free first Friday also offered many of the artists with tables demonstrating how they create their work, and even... More

Planted smack downtown modern Bellevue a visit to BAM is always a treat. Home to, initially crafts of the highest caliber, the kind of artisan work that often deserves the qualification Fine Art, BAM's tall atrium and walls make it possible to present large works of art that can't easily be displayed at other venues. Those who have Holl's chapel... More

From the outside BAM is almost as appealing as a storage warehouse plunked down in the heart of downtown Bellevue. Come inside. The museum has hosted some outstanding traveling exhibitions in human scale galleries. This is Bellevue but there is nothing snooty about the place. The docents are dedicated tto ensuring everyone's visit is up close and personal. I like... More

I do not recommend it. I live in Bellevue and do not find this 'artless' museum compelling. Friends do not frequent it either.
