My friends & I are really GLAD we took the time to explore this place while "passing through" Port Orchard. They loved the gift shop; I loved the Gardens! We even got to meet Dan Robinson, the owner, chief horticulturist, and what a treat to...More

We stopped by on a cool September morning, surprised by the Gardens. At first glance, it was an odd curiosity shoppe of artifacts -- mostly Asian -- from around the world. Quite a collection of ... stuff. Then we toured the Gardens, hundreds of bonsai...More

Setting next to Puget Sound, the shear beauty of these gardens is just amazing. The walking paths has dozens of beautiful bonsai that show the hand of a true masters work. There are individual stories posted for each tree which we found very interesting. This...More

They specialize in bonsai and have some very ancient and beautiful trees. There are also sculptures and views across the bay to hold your interest. $8 a piece. On Hwy 16 just south of where it merges with Hwy 3. Worth the time and money.

A must visit for anyone who appreciates plants. Both evergreens and deciduous trees and shrubs. Enjoyed time talking with Dan. Such care and passion for his daily work. Location on the water. Must be headed west and in the right lane. Entrance easy to miss.

I discovered Elandan on a daytrip with a friend and have since been back via bicycle. Also, when my southern family came to visit, this is one of the places they raved about from their enjoyable visit.

There's not much room in the gift shop for a wheel chair, but the garden itself should be accessible.
