This was a beautiful park that was unbelievably clean. The tide was out and we had lots of room to walk the beach and plenty of fun whale watching from the shore. There is a lot to explore here!

This has been our go to place on the island for intimate or family picnics. It is ideal for beach walks, building driftwood forts, playing family games and especially barbecuing. The view of Saratoga Passage and across to Whidbey Island is fantastic as is watching...More

Beautiful beaches and park! Photo-ops abound here, especially the golden autumn foliage in full display! We spotted a few elegant cranes and seagulls there. The beach is very accessible from the parking lot with well-maintained trails. The park also has a brand new restroom building...More

Hiking there with a bunch of friends is super! The fog never really lifted, but that didn't dampen our spirits. The madrona trees were reaching out into the water, hope they stay there for a while. Nice trails, covered with leaves this time of year....More

I like to do beach walks here and watch the wonderful sunsets. It's never very crowded and a short drive from Stanwood or anywhere on the island. Nice place to picnic as well.

We stopped in to do some hiking, and this was a good location for a beach hike. The beach is stoney, so you need decent shoes. It is best to park at the lower lot, since the upper lot requires you to use a stair...More

If you love hiking in the woods, this is a pleasant place for easy/moderate hikes. The beach is rocky and usually windy so it's not a beach destination except for observing nature, skipping rocks or communing with the sea. In winter, it can be a...More

Yes they only have 5 cabins. You may want to look into Cama beach state park next door. They have 24 cabins on the beach, but only a few are pet friendly. Some are ADA accessible also. These cabins are right on the beach.
