Gorgeous trails!

We've been hiking/running these trails, and they are the simply gorgeous. If you want easy trails, with only moderate inclines, and a view of the water, this is your place.

My friends and I love to grab dinner and head over to Camano Island State Park and head down to the picnic tables above the beach. NOBODY is usually there in the summer evening. We do it several times a month. Restrooms are close by if needed. If you also want to explore the gravelly beach looking across the Saratoga... More

This is a fun, clean campground to camp at. The kids love it and being able to go down to the beach anytime to explore. The camp spots are nicely kept and the campground is clean. There are lots of trees and privacy between the spots and beautiful views of the Puget Sound all over the campground. The beach area... More

Camano Island is a little unique for the State of Washington due to the fact that the State allowed the private beach front cottage owners, decades ago, to purchase their beach fronts and hence, privatize them. This makes any access to the waterfront way more precious than normal. Therefore the State Parks on the Island become hugely important for water... More

On a day trip we stopped at the park to look around and check out the camp sites. I liked the lack of trash, the well worn trails and the quiet beach...kudos to the Park service!

This was our first-ever camping experience. And it turned out to be fabulous. We started early to ensure a good spot. We got one with a nice view of the bay. The rest rooms were big and clean. Plenty of water taps around the camp ground. Overall the camp ground was very neat and peaceful. Quick info (as this is... More

I love this beach and all the animals that can be spotted swimming off shore. The only unnerving part is the one way road getting to it (for a short distance) due to the bank sliding away. Other than that it is so worth going to it. Just please leave it as nice as you found it and take any... More

Its only a few minutes from home but I enjoy going down to the beach area to take a nice walk, or just enjoy being close to nature. Some descent little hikes around the park and the chance to see an eagle or two.
