I like to do beach walks here and watch the wonderful sunsets. It's never very crowded and a short drive from Stanwood or anywhere on the island. Nice place to picnic as well.

My family was invited to a HS graduation party for the daughter of one of my wife's friends, as they had rented a small party building on the beach for the party. I had never been to Camano Island or the state park so had...More

We stopped in to do some hiking, and this was a good location for a beach hike. The beach is stoney, so you need decent shoes. It is best to park at the lower lot, since the upper lot requires you to use a stair...More

If you love hiking in the woods, this is a pleasant place for easy/moderate hikes. The beach is rocky and usually windy so it's not a beach destination except for observing nature, skipping rocks or communing with the sea. In winter, it can be a...More

There are much better and more beautiful beaches in the northern Seattle area. This one is not easy to find either. There are signs pointing the way when you cross over onto the island, but none after that. The beach itself is rocky and the...More

Great place to hike and see the water from the vistas, even benches available to take a break with incredible views. There are some steep areas that wouldn’t be good for small children.

Yes they only have 5 cabins. You may want to look into Cama beach state park next door. They have 24 cabins on the beach, but only a few are pet friendly. Some are ADA accessible also. These cabins are right on the beach.
