One of the few public beaches on the island that has sand. There is a nice informational board with the history of the area on it, next to a covered area with picnic tables. A boardwalk takes you further along the coastline for some great...More

Great place for birding. Nature walks, or photography outings. Rain, shine, snow... doesn't matter. Always a low key quiet space to visit.

Almost hate to tell people about this spot...both times I went were so peaceful and quiet. This is getting close to nature. You can almost miss the turn and when you get to the road you wonder if you should follow it. But go ahead,...More

Not much here, but it does preserve some waterfront and has a nice trail. It also has some story boards that tell about its history. It is not very large and doesn't have lawns or a play area for kids.

Trail may be MUDDY, and there are times it may be difficult to cross small tidal creek. Can see Mt. Baker !!

This is a nice beach and marshy tidal area with trails, and a great view north toward the Skagit Delta and Mount Baker. A logging company existed in the early part of the 20th Century here, and the pilings from the docks and boardwalks are...More

This is a beautiful area to walk the beach. I also think it is one area that you can let your dogs run without a leash. Views of Mt. Baker, Puget Sound, it is a great beach and beautiful place to go.

Wonderful place to go for a short walk and admire the views of the water and Whidbey island. Also I nice place to launch kayaks and play in the surf (high tide only).
