This isn't a long ride, but it winds it's way up to a lake where you get off the train for awhile, then the reverse trip takes you back to the station. There are both enclosed cars and an open car to ride in. The scenery is nice also.

So first of I'd like to say that the costumer service that we received from every one we spoke to was amazing. We were originally signed up for the 5:30 but Sherri was soo nice and accommodating and found room for us on the 3:30 which was better for our littles as we were driving from an hour and a... More

So much fun! All of my grandkids ages 5 to 16 enjoyed. The staff was amazing and helped my future son in law with a surprise proposal for my daughter. The trip is a nice length and the story and carols are fun. We will be back!

I don't often write negative reviews about places but I have to share my overwhelming bitter disappointment at my experience with "The Polar Express" ride. I paid the premium price for five tickets in the First Class section after seeing photos from Red Tricycle Seattle. I have no idea where to begin with how tacky, cheap and amateurish the whole... The entire experience even prior to boarding was amazing! The organization from welcome parking, to happy directions for your next move to get your tickets, timing to be under the tent before boarding made things so welcoming and easy. All the staff were friendly and helpful, before the event of boarding even started. Waiting to board was entertaining, in line... More

As a group, Real American Pageant Royalty boarded the Polar Express for the first time! Loved the pre-show and the narration as the train moved along. The dancing and singing was awesome as we sang along while hot chocolate and cookies were served. Santa bestowed the first gift of Christmas was given to each passenger. It was beautiful. The staff... More

My family has been doing annual polar express rides for four years. We moved to Washington last year and were disappointed with the one in Hood River, Oregon, having been spoiled by the great experience we had in Durango, Colorado. We wanted to try a different one this year and we are so happy we did! They provided a pre-boarding... More

It was totally fun! Singing Christmas carols and eating cookie with hot chocolate. I think the complaints are because people just expect too much. It is a short train ride with a bunch of people who can hear a story and sing Christmas carols. When else have you ever gotten to pretend to go to the North Pole to see... More

We went on the Polar Express on the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad this past weekend and it was FABULOUS. We took our 3 year old grandson and his great grandmother too. It was so much fun. The actors who were the wait staff, the hot chocolate and cookies, and the sing along was just awesome. I highly recommend anyone taking... More
