Very short ferry ride to the island. I enjoy birdwatching and saw several osprey, great blue herons and terns. Also saw a murmuration of starlings. We are a couple in our 60's and did not bring any kids. It was quite pleasant and we did...More

I've been out twice now. Each time has been a wash. I want to love it so much!! It's a lovely location, the ferry is super accessible, it's close to home, the water is warm... During the daytime (when you actually want to visit) the...More

I have never been to a beach that had a 360 degree view of the mountains but now I can say I have. The beach itself was just okay. It was a long walk from the dock to the actual beach and if you have...More

This is a Fun place to walk, people watch and enjoy the sunshine while resting! You can take a seasonal small ferry over the jetty to explore and watch the windsurfing!

We love going here in the summer! Nice little trails to walk around, a mini "ferry" ride across the water, sandy beaches and lots of shallow water, that's surprisingly warm for washington state! Definitely a must visit for the Everett area on a hot day.

Seems like a fun place to go, however, unless you live in the city of everett and can make a reservation you will end up waiting in the stand by line for several hours to take the ferry there and back. Even on a monday.

We visited this place for the second time this year. The Island which can be accessed by a Free Ferry Ride ( Five Minutes) is a place to visit in Summer with Children. The water is shallow and not too cold. Children would just love...More

Have found many locals have never been here which is a pity. I was here on business and decided to take the ferry and do some walking this morning. I was early and had the place to myself for a little while. Park & Recreation...More

Make sure to take kids or grandkids. They will never forget the short ferry ride to the island, the sand dunes, the shallow water for wading, the wildlife along the jetty, the place to fly kites or play Frisbee. Take a lunch, sunscreen, a blanket...More
