This campground is 200 yards away from a remarkable view of the Cowlitz River. The fishing bridge was closed and the water level was super low when we were there. You have to go by the boat launch to be able to swim. It’s not...More

I go past the road to this place every weekend in the winter to ski. Decided to go down the road a couple of weekends ago and liked the look of the park so much I booked for the next week. They have anything you...More

We booked a spot in the walk in tent camping section. The campsites are completely, ridiculously on top of each other (see image). I have never been to a less private campground. Not even a little line of bushes or trees separate the sites. My...More

Really nice RV spots, very clean park. Bathroom where we stayed very nice and clean. Nice and we'll maintained. Take your bikes, the park is well laid out for riding or for walking. We're going again this summer with friends, highly recommend this park.

We stayed 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend in the "walk-in" tent camping area. An hour after arriving, we considered packing up, going home, and abandoning our pre-paid campsite. We had neighbors who were playing loud music and shouting over it to talk to each...More

Went there for the lake and Fishing but found the water was to low to gain access. Park was clean and site spaces had buffer zones between them so you had some separation from fellow campers. Pads where level and paved and Power water and...More

We just got home today after a two day stay. Nice park..big and spacious. The lake was seriously low so no fun there. Burn ban and hot during the day. The park was eerily quiet...even at night because no one was outside. Midweek visit, burn...More

I wasn't impressed. There were a lot of drunk rowdy people here. Lots of cars parked on the side of road made it hard to maneuver my trailer around. Camp ground was clean and there were a few nice trails to walk. The lake was...More

Lot's of nice walks. Fun game of finding 23 faces in the trees that the kids (and adults) really enjoyed. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Planing on going back.

Very beautiful park. Water levels at Riffe can vary greatly, so swimming area was high and dry when we were there. But still, its an awesome place. Restrooms and showers are modern and probably the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground. Some of...More

Yes. The launch at the campground is closed though but there's one a few miles up the road from the campground entrance.

I suppose that depends on what you mean by 'close.' Because it has campsites I doubt the gates are locked at night if for no other reason than safety.
