This is a very good campground which has reserve a bowl spots for RVs and has a few spots are first come first serve. Right by the ocean and within distance of two light houses it is a phenomenal park.

We went to Ecola the day before so this park did not measure up at all to that. We hiked a long 1.8 mile trail then turned back. Not many views of the water along the trail and we got torn up by mosquitos. Saw...More

Did a couple of hikes and met porcupine, deer, and many birds. Some of the sites don't have much privacy but overall the place is well kept. Had wanted to see the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center but it doesn't open until 10am so we...More

Great place for a day out and some exploring. Nice hiking trails, lighthouse and the Lewis and Clark interpretive center, part of the Lewis and Clark NHP makes this a very interesting place.

Our main destination was the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, which had a lot of interesting exhibits and a short movie. Along the way we were treated to views of trees, rocks, beaches and lighthouses. We had an enjoyable day seeing the sights.

Beautiful views, pretty easy hikes. We were there during a coastal storm. It was amazing to watch the huge waves crash against the rocks below the lighthouse from the Lewis and Clark center. Most definitely the best place for viewing a storm. When the sun...More

This park has so much beauty and history to offer. Just driving through appears to be no charge, but entering a site to park requires a Discovery parking permit. Ours was $10.00 for one day for a passenger vehicle. Well worth the charge considering the...More

This overlook area gives a birds eye view of the Cape along with some fantastic reader board history of the perilous undersea terrain that brought as many as 3 large ships all in one year to demise. The camp ground, park, and beach are all...More

I have used my cell phone on the peninsula with no problems at all. It shouldn't be any different at Cape Disappointment State Park.

I’m not sure if they close the camping area, but you should be able to call and ask.
