I got real lucky no rain sunny cool, spring like weather on the coast of WA during Valentines weekend. The park was the pinnacle of the trip. Great hikes short and coastal views to scratch off your list. Only wish I would have decided to camp instead of a VRBO on the beach. The Yurts looked tempting. Sorry no dogs... More

The tourism center is very educational and would think that all ages would thoroughly enjoy it. The view is amazing being able to see the mouth of the Columbia River and watch the ships come and go.

We visited the park and walked the trails to both lighthouses. There is a short loop with a lookout view point for those who don't want to walk.

We had never been to this state park because it's a little further from home but, with a three day weekend, I decided to give it a try. Most of the parks I've found that are on the pacific coast are in grasslands and there's no trees. Seems to me that they serve mostly as a base for people to... More

We headed out of Seattle to spend a night camping here but sadly were turned away as the lot was full. But we did come back the next day to have seagulls, sit by the ocean and just enjoy the scenery. A few short easy hikes later we were thoroughly relaxed and rested. What an amazing oasis on the coast!... More

Good campground. Very large, with well-maintained sites. Rangers on site at all times. West-facing sunsets. Good walk-thrus to the beaches.

My wife's family has been coming to this State Park since the mid 1970's - much has changed over the years, including the name, but most hasn't, and that is why we keep coming back. The State Park is beautiful and well kept. The beaches are amazing, the hiking trails, the museums, lighthouses, interpretive center, local residents, all will provide... More

We really enjoyed walking the beach where the Corps of Discovery team dipped their toes in the Pacific. Don't miss the L&C Interpretive Center.

There is much to see in this park - 2 lighthouses (one has a rather steep walk), parts of the former Fort Canby, hiking trails, beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and a Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center (additional fee). There is a nice campground that includes camping cabins and yurts. There is the former Lighthouse Keepers Residences available to... More
