We are hobby photographers and wanted to hike the trails and take pictures. The South area had both trails closed and the parking lot had a portion-potty that was to the brim with black gak.

Even when we came here there was a heavy fog this place looked amazing. Just charming and mysterious. A lot of animals and birds around. Worth it.

Our friends wanted to share this Art Trail with us and we are glad they did! It is difficult to describe but was a walk that had incorporated art into nature. One needs to walk slowly and really notice the different art from the dragonfly...More

We just stopped for a breathe of fresh air and stumbled upon this creative art trail and short forest hike. The art trail is not obvious until you go round back of display board next to (smelly) restrooms and pick up a descriptive leaflet. Families...More

We stopped a the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge along US 101 on the drive between Long Beach and Tacoma. It is nice, but I would not make a special trip to go here. There is odd artwork placed along a short boardwalk through the wetland...More

Beautiful area to kayak with many waterways to navigate. Beware the outgoing tide as you may well become stranded until the next high tide rolls in. Plenty of birds to see.

This is for the art walk and Cutthroat Climb. The artwalk is interesting and easily accessible to everyone. We also did the Cutthroat Climb, trailhead reached via tge boardwalk. It's named after the Cutthroat trout salmon. Nice, 2/3 mile loop. Lots of (uneven) stairs. Great...More

It was a rainy, drippy morning when we started the art trail, but the sun was shining when we left! The sculptures were fascinating and the steep climb up the trail really got our here pumping. I'm so glad we did this!
