We have our Family and Friends reunion here every 4th of July. It seems cleaner since the remodel, and it was quieter this year. During the year, my husband and I bike through here, and walk our dog.

We went for an AVP Pro Volleyball event. What a backdrop! It was beautiful and breathtaking. It is the perfect setting. We pinched ourselves several times that we could be at a sports even in such wonderful surroundings.

I’d avoided Lake Sammamish for years expecting it to be way too busy, no parking etc. However, we decided to give it a try when in town, and we we ever surprised! Of course it was busy, but there was a ridiculous amount of parking...More

This park sits smack dab in the middle of $$$ high end homes, etc. When we drove in the sidewalks were broken up, and patches of grass missing in several areas, the parking lot needs repair, etc. But- they have put in some newer baths...More

Other reviews capture the highlights of the park. I'd add that it's big and there's a lot of parking. For boaters, there's a separate entrance with launch ramps and trailer parking off East Lake Sammamish Road (about a 5 minute drive from the park entrance)....More

The playground is one of the best for small children. It has a lot of variety and engages a wide variety of kids (and parents/grandparents). The beach(es) are decent, however, suffer from excessive bird manure.

Wonderful pleasant walk along tree lines paths or along the lake beach front. In season snack bars for the hungry and thirsty. Very dog friendly with abundant picnic benches and grills. A great place to see families enjoying each other rather than some electronic device.

Lake Sammamish is a beautiful lake, but more for boating, paddle boarding, and swimming than hiking. In fact there's like no real hiking. If you go further out Interstate 90 to Rattlesnake Lake, which is not far (maybe 10-15... More

Besides the boat launch, I believe most of the shore is private property. Although there are a few spots along the shore where the trails approach, quite possible you could find a little oasis. But I wouldn’t bet on it... More
