The two others were rialto and ruby. This one needs a bit of a walk but was perhaps the most beautiful one, and with less people

I strongly recommend Second Beach for its numerous photo opps, especially at sunset. The beach entails a 7/10 mile hike in, which can be exhausting due to the steps when you exit the beach in failing light. The beach is sandy and easy to walk...More

We did the hike to Second Beach and really got a kick out of it. Keep in mind that it does descend down and what goes down must come up. But it is worth it because the hike and beach are amazing and fun.

We stayed at Quileute Oceanside Resort on First Beach (highly recommend!). This is just a quick drive from there. You take a nice hike through old growth trees and then climb over huge logs to get to the beach. We went at low tide to see...More

Getting here was a relatively short hike. Great views. Getting to the shore requires you negotiate over many washed ashore trees. Watch your footing. I didn't notice the sand covering the debris and slipped. Luckily I still bounce :) Very scenic!

The hike to beach is beautiful, a bit steep and challenging at times but well worth it. Lots of driftwood to climb over at the bottom of the trail. The sea stacks were impressive. We went to see the tide pools. Crowds weren't bad even...More

After approximately a 1 mile trek through a beautiful forest, you come across second beach at La Push. It is very definitely worth the hike, which is easy to do in standard trainers. There are basic toilets at the trailhead.

we only got to spend one night on second beach, but when you add in the bioluminescence it makes it all worthwhile!

All three beaches at La Push are stunningly beautiful and great for exploring, wading, collecting pebbles, swimming, kite flying, and even a bit of surfing. Second Beach is more rugged than First Beach, and stretches well over a mile from a headland way down on...More
