My family have lived a few blocks from this lake since 1974. Our children played in one of the three playgrounds until the believed they were too old. Now their children play there. The lake is used by the community on a consistent basis, but it becomes an area wide event location on the Fourth of July. Walkers and runners... More

Year round beauty, with many events taking place throughout the year. There are childrens play areas, restrooms, and themed areas to walk round. Ducks to feed and fish to be fished. Fountains to watch and all with free parking. You could even do your daily jog around the perimeter - about 3.5 miles. Throughout the summer and other holidays there... More

This beautiful in town large park has restrooms, picnicking and walking/jogging. There are covered areas and open spaces for picnicking or just sitting on the grass watching people go by. Not too many beggars around. They are usually on the corners looking filthy and annoying. The restrooms are always dirty and uncared for. Dog poop is common so watch where... More

What a find. Perfect for a run (3.5 miles around) or walk in the city. Well maintained park with informative signs and infrastructure.

Our lake is beautiful year round! Great walking path around the whole lake! Playgrounds for the kids! Ducks to see and fish to be fished for! In the fall when the leaves turn color it is very picturesque! Likewise, In the spring with everything blooming!

This is probably one of the best, if not the best city park for a town this size. It has lots of lake to look at as you walk around it. It has huge old trees and lots of grass and flowers and landscaping to look at. Very well landscaped and well kept. There are bridges to walk over to... More

This park is amazing. Many older trees that are labeled for the different varieties. So many different kinds. The large (long) lake is full of ducks, beavers and cranes. Nice quiet place with some nice houses. Has a good playground and in the summer it has some good local concerts. Great place to go to.

Lake Sacajawea is just a block from my home and absolutely lovely! Lined in trimmed grass, plenty of parking curbside, walking paths that wind around this long lake, complete with benches, picnic tables and gazebos make this a destination in itself. It's a straight shot off the freeway and easy to find. It's free. It's also very peaceful even though... More

This is a very nice park. We met a lot of very friendly people and pets, whether they were walking/jogging, playing with their kids or just playing Pokemon Go. Will definitely go again when in the area.

This long, lovely lake spans many blocks in Longview, Washington. There are places to sit and large expanses of grass, a trail follows the shoreline and many people walk and jog on the paths. Large, very large trees line many of the streets alongside the park. There is a fountain in the water on one area of the lake, which... More
