Great, well maintained trail. You pass through several different microclimates on the way up. The view at the top is pretty spectacular. Very few people in the middle of the week. You need a park pass to use the trailhead parking area. One can be...More

I did this hike mainly because there is a transit shuttle that runs between Capitol hill link station and Mount Si (the service is called trailhead direct). This hike is an expert level with 3100 ft elevation gain in just 4 miles. the bus drops...More

Family and I took this hike while I was visiting them in Kirkland. I was not prepared physically or mentally--it's quite a climb! I made it to the top nonetheless. The views from the top were beautiful. Took this hike on a sunny October day,...More

Nice, strenuous hike. Good all year round although you might want micro spikes in the winter. The trail goes through forest the whole way and the view at the top is worthwhile. Go early in the morning if you want to avoid crowds.

The other reviews do a nice job describing the trail. You're under the forest canopy for the duration of the hike with the only view occurring at the top! That said, the view is awesome (and rewarding) as Mt. Rainier is readily visible to the...More

Mt Si is just plain gorgeous. As a local I see it from about four or five different angles- and its beautiful in any weather. In winter it is dusted with snow, in summer, the sun hits it just right and lights it up as...More

We had a car but noticed there was a bus route to North Bend. check out the bus lines for their schedules. you also could book a Twin Peaks tour or a hiking tour. We saw sign for various tour companies.
