Great pool
Mar 2019 • Family
This is a great pool that tries to accomadate everyone. Ive been going here for years with my kids 4 and 13 its nothing fancy but they have a diving board, ball swing, pool balls for volleyball etc., mats, and inter tubes to float on. there is a small pool for little ones. the schedule is a little tricky because they support aerobics swim team lap swim open swim and likely some more I dont know of. they have fun events but it can get pretty crowded during thoes and on saturdays and they have to stay in a safe limit so there can be a cut off if you show up late.

Free for active duty, reduced rates for retirees....warm wading pool = great place!

We spent a couple hours here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The wading pool is 2.5' and heated...both perfect for our kids! We stayed warm and could still have a blast because it was just deep enough to goof around. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We thought it was fairly priced and perfect for our needs. Nothing fancy - just a couple simple pools for swimming and playing. This isn't a spray park or amusement park, just a pool which was perfect for us.

OK pool

We were in the area for a week, so I was happy to find an aquatic center for something for my son to do. This is your basic pool, nothing fancy, even though one review I read on another site said it had a slide. It does not. It's just a typical rectangular lap pool, and nearby is another rectangular pool, smaller and shallow for younger kids. There is also a large hot tub area, and a sauna room for adults. I found their schedule way too restrictive, compared to our own town's aquatic center which offers "open swim" all day. Their current "open swim" was only available from 1:15-2:45, and then I think also a couple hours in the evening. There is a diving board, but to my son's disappointment, you can't use it wearing goggles and his eyes are sensitive to chlorine. Plus, he said it was the coldest pool he ever was in. Unfortunately, he didn't have a very fun time. Too many restrictions = not many customers not willing to pay. Our town (Astoria, OR)'s pool used to be like this and was losing money until they hired a consultant to change their attitude and to be more friendly and accommodating - and it's worked! Our pool is so much nicer than this one, if anyone is reading this, give it a try if you come to Astoria! :)
