Have taken kids ages 6-11 there and they all have had a great time --interesting information for adults and fun thought-provoking information for kids to learn more about the water we use everyday.

We took our grandchildren and they all had fun checking out the different displays and activities. We learned a lot as well. Nicely done and free!

Free! The WET Science Center begins with a beautiful small pond, near the entrance, that uses recycled water! This water feature has stepping stones and paths that meander around plants and the "pond" which are in front of the center. Once inside the door there are kind volunteers to help explain things and to guide you to the various exhibits.... More

The LOTT (Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater and Thurston County) communities waste water treatment center has created a great science center about all things water. Every aspect from conservation to jobs in the field is covered in a fun hands on way. It was technical enough that my Middle School age daughter (and I) were engaged, but there were also things that... More

Located right next door to the Childrens museum is the wet center. Great water features and grounds. Inside interactive science and studies of water and the sound. It is really a very cool place to go.

This is a must for children and adults to learn about the treatment center here in Olympia. There are many hands on experiments to try, a craft room, and for the adults...such knowledge about how our water is treated. Very enjoyable!

Went to the WET Science Center to see what was going on with the water in our area. Was greeted with a happy host. Lots of interesting facts, opportunities at WET. Great for a tip with kids. They were making rain sticks one of the back rooms. We also received a shower timer (to help limit our water consumption) and... More

This experience appeals to KIDS of ALL Ages, but if you let the kids or grand kids get into this with the staff's guidance--you will be equally amazed!!!

This is a good place to start or end your day at the Children's Hands on Museum. They are next to each other and there is a connection in the stream that wanders along outside Children's.
